Summary: I bought this phone on Thursday night and had to wait in line for 15 minutes and that should of been my first clue not to get it. I got it home and starting adjusting to it. I sync it to my Macbook Pro and that work very well. But then I started realizing how much this phone was really lacking no voice or txt caller ID was the first big thing even my Palm Pro had that feature. The second thing was having to go to two screens to find your favorites numbers. The Palm you just scroll through the numbers in first screen that you look it up in. Then the biggest thing of all is you can only have one application open at a time. Now being a total Apple guy I have two Macbook Pros, two Macbook Air, iMac, time capsule and ipod touch. Now having the iPod touch I knew that you can only have one application open except you can have your music playing and do other things like the iPhone. I had to use the phone on friday to get some information for my portfolio and I tried to go and use the internet what a joke it was like I was like I was on dial up. I was in Huntington Beach, CA 40 miles from downtown LA not like I was in Wyoming on the open range with limited service so no 3G coverage where I was in HB at all. I had to get my Sprint Palm Pro to get the information I needed in a snap. I know this is not a fault of the iPhone but AT&T keeps advertising that they have the largest network and the best 3G coverage anywhere. Well I was 40 miles from downtown Los Angeles and could not get 3G coverage! Hmm, I don't think they have the best coverage. Then the battery life is way below what I get out of my Palm Pro. The best I have seein is 4 hours out of the iPhone and that is very light use. I can not image if I really used for what the phone is suppose to do. I am very disappointed in iPhone. Being a total Apple guy I should of waited another two years and then maybe the iPhone would not have been such a huge disappointment. I am really glad I did not disconnect my service with Sprint because I will be taking the iPhone back to the Apple store and returning to a phone that performs so much better than the iPhone, I know it not the coolest but the Iphone is not as cool as everyone thinks.
