Pros Great screen, lots of great and free apps. Fast.
Cons Lacks a lot of basic functions available on other phones for years. No ability to set when you would and would not like to receive emails pushed to the phone, no speed dialing, inability to set separate signatures for different email accounts.
Summary It's a toy more than a phone. Great screen, great apps, fun to play with. For a really expensive phone that can do amazing things like give turn by turn GPS directions via a free app or be located by the internet anywhere in the world you happen to accidentally leave it, it lacks some really obvious basic features I used to be able to do with a much less expensive and older phone.
Pros Best camera. most simple and intuitive to use. Does everything you could ever want.
Cons so far nothing has proven bad
Summary I have waited for a long time for the iPhone on Verizon. No phone compares to the ease of use and it's superiority.
"iphone 4 is so so"on by t1Grizzly
Pros call quality is fine and it has a nice music player, camera, fast speeds but only over wifi (see 3G speed con below)
Cons -biggest con is the very slow 3g speed
-battery has been marginal-doesn't last even 1 day with liimited use
-music player starts randomly
-speakerphone is way 2 soft and speakers are 2 easy to cover with hand
-bluetooth does not autoconnect well
Summary i have been a long-time VZM customer and waited a long time 4 this phone and very much wanted 2 like it but it is nothing special; also used iphone 3gs and iphone 4 on AT&T so i can compare them; only had ithe VZW iphone 4 < than 1 wk, and the biggest con is the very slow 3g speed (remember dial-up computer service slow), but its fine over wifi but who has wifi on the road; morever battery life has been marginal-doesn't last even 1 day with liimited use and call time, additionally the music player starts randomly which may explain the poor battery performance and no replaceable battery on nearly every other phone.. additionally, the bluetooth does not autoconnect well with either of my motorola bluetooth headsets (models H17 and H720), but seems to be fine with the bluetooth in my prius; am strongly considering returning this marginal phone 4 the reasons noted.Unlike Kent German experienced in his CNET review, I think this phone may experience the death grip that also plagued At&T's phone. When holding it in my left hand and running speed test apps (Speedtest and Speed Test) the speeds were significantly slower thant if i barely held the phone or significantly changed my grip to an awkward position. I am unimpressed with this phone and Verizon's 3G network..

Pros I ORIGINALLY HAD A DROID AND I SWITCHED TO THE IPHONE AND THE IPHONE IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE DROID
Cons DROID SUCKS
Summary I ORIGINALLY HAD A DROID AND I SWITCHED TO THE IPHONE AND THE IPHONE IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE DROID. The iPhone is faster than the droid and actually worth the money. Don't make the mistake of getting a Droid get the iPhone instead. The iPhone is smoother and doesn't freeze unlike the Droid which freezes all the time. The iPhone has a better camera and better camera application. More apps to choose from. Easier to use and very user friendly and very safe with the passcode and SIM Card lock. If your debating whether to buy an iPhone or a Droid get the iPhone.
CELL PHONE MARKET SHARE
GET AN IPHONE IT WILL BE THE BEST CELL PHONE DECISION OF YOUR LIFE!!!!!
Pros It's the phone that everyone else tries to compete with. Everything about the phone is quality.
Cons Haven't found any yet, but I've only had the phone for about 2 days.
Summary I actually have the 32GB iPhone 4, but it's still the same phone. I've had cellular service for over 20 years now and I know that I hardly ever have the need to talk and surf the net at the same time. Call quality and not having dropped calls ranked as a higher priority to me, so that's why I woudn't go over to AT&T even though I have wanted an iPhone for some time now. You can say the commercials are all hype, but Verizon really does have the best network.
I've played with several of the different Android phones on the market that some of my friend have from Verizon and while they are nice, they just don't seem as refined or slick as the iPhone. It really is a great phone.
