Pros Slick design, FaceTime is terrific, Retina Display is magnificent.
Cons Proximity sensor issues (face activates & calls others while on the phone), iOS4 very buggy, Reception Issues based on placement of new antenna locations on side of phone.
Summary At the end of the day, this is the best phone out there. Period. Everyone may be picking on it now because of the perfect reputation Apple hasn't lived up to, but in the end, it's far better than any other device. There's a reason every other device copies Apple & why Apple isn't copying them.
Pros Beautiful screen
better camera, front camera as well
flash on the camera
longer battery life
Cons Poor antenna placement
Poor implementation of multi-tasking
Poor implementation of folders
Summary The silver band around the phone is the antenna. If you hold it in your hand in a full grip, i.e. cover the slits on either side of the phone, you can literally watch the at&t bars drop off. Takes about 10 seconds for one bar to drop and then 10-30 seconds for a 2nd bar to drop causing call static and failures. Let go and the bar immediately reappear. Poor design, who tests this stuff?
The task manager is reached by double clicking the home button. You will find it is a most recently used apps list, not the running apps. That list can get huge and includes things like "settings" "inbox" "messages etc. Even apps that are not multitasking ready are there. Do get rid of them you have to delete each icon one by one. Please! How about a delete all? How about a setting to NOT put apps in the task manager unless they are really running and doing something like pandora or a gps location app
Folder implementation has a problem. If you open a folder and click an app, the app fires up as expected. When you exit the app, you are back in the folder, not to the home screen. Why would I want to go back to the folder? I already chose the app I wanted, I ran it, I exited it. Now put me in the home screen! You have to click out of the folder even though you are done with it.
Pros The Screen, Camera's are improved, The Design, i never liked the rounded back of the formers, and of course the UI, the Battery trumps many out there
Cons AT&T is the only godang thing that is preventing this phone from being like THE BEST!!!!,
Summary The iPhone 4 is yet another phone that sets the bar(or atleast it did when it came out) its rivaled b a only lucky few like the Galaxy Series, the Evo, The Incredible, and the G2, the screen is one of the best out there with no complaints aginst it actually complements the camera and makes the camera seem better than it, it has a front facing camera, the way it's built is EXTREMELY SEXY!!(atleast to me) it's famous what else do you want, but AT&T prevents it from being the best in it's catergory like evry other apple product itI keeep my Review the Same Antennagate withstanding, cause that was just a over hyped rumor with almost no truth in it, people saw a chance to criticize Apple and they jumped on it and other people who didn't know anything about the phone but didnt want to seem ignorant jumped on the bandwagon.

Pros 1)Phone is very stylish and very thin compared to others out in the smartphone market. 2)The Retina display and the updated camera with flash is a huge improvement. 3) Multitasking finally... not the best but very good. 4) Largest amount of software
Cons iTunes management software can be very slow if you have a large amount of music, movies, and photos that need to be synced to your computer. Unable to support Adobe Flash is a royal pain in the butt when browsing the internet.
Summary I like the iPhone compared to what is out on the market now but the Droid phones seem to get better and better after each version. I will most likely purchase a Droid phone if they keep making large improvements and/or surpassing the iPhone, but as of now the iPhone is still the better and more fun smartphone to use when it comes to the vast amount of applications in every category (games, productivity, utilities, etc.) , and improved mail support via mail application or the included version iOS4 operating system. The major drawbacks are the AT&T service depending your location of service and of course the big antenna issue which everyone that has even though I haven't yet since I bought my phone with bumper the same day. I wouldn't be caught without any protection just in case I would have dropped the $300 phone.
Pros It's an iPhone
Cons but it's on AT&T.
Summary After playing around with one today, I've decided to keep my EVO 4G since I feel it's the better phone. On my EVO, I can install a sega genesis emulator and play genesis games on it for free, no need to pay for bad apps. On my EVO, I can use Grooveshark and stream whatever song I want; no need for iTunes. On my EVO, I can make and receive calls; I can't do any of that on my iPhone (well, the call functionality sometimes works). My friend that had the iPhone 4 actually spent more time with my EVO today than he did with his iPhone 4 due to the ability to stream live video over 4G and made the comment that "wow, the internet speed on this thing is as fast as wi-fi". That should tell you what the better phone is. If Apple was a bit more open and allowed more apps and the phone was on different carriers, it would be the better phone, but as things are, right now it's not. Do yourself a favor; don't buy it until another carrier like Sprint or Verizon picks it up.
