"Good ergonomic phone, but lacks features of new Droids."
on by rc_in_DallasPros - Fits in my hand. New 4g droids on Sprint (with new operating system) are just too big.
- Siri does a lot of things conveniently even when phone is locked. I have to use a 4-digit pin due to work requirements, so this is great.Cons - No haptic feedback.
- Not as customizable as a droid.
- Voice navigation not included as a free / integrated app. can buy separately but then not automatically integrated with contacts.
- a little slow. Siri sometimes does not feel like talking.Summary no other option for sprint customers with small hands who don't want the old Android 2.3 release. Convenient to use (except for navigation, which is a step backwards), but disappoints due to lacking features / customization capability. Battery life OK but not impressive. Screen is good but so is Samsung Galaxy and HTC Evo. Had to find a separate browser to see flash videos. Screen / keyboard does not rotate to landscape in many applications, which is a problem on that small screen.

"Cheaper and uncomfortable in comparison to Iphone 3"
on by dkzzzzPros Faster? The name has higher number "4" instead of lower number "3".
Cons Sharp corners, hard to handle or remove from the pocket because beveled, slick design was taken away and replaced with generic cheap "brick"-design. The feel and look of the Iphone 4 is much worse. It is more generic less clean design than 3S.
Summary Apple should have upgraded chip and software without touching outer shell design. Instead , they decided to cheapen everything to save costs and replaced really elegant Iphone 3 with generic brick, no different from everything else on the market.

"An improvement against older models but not awesome."

MultitaskingCons Siri
Battery Life
Closing AppsSummary Siri is overrated and nowhere near as easy to use as the Apple commercials portray it. Siri has a hard time with speakers from the southern states. It is not southern accent friendly to the point that I no longer try to use it.
Closing apps is kind of a pain. You can not close them from the app itself.
Battery Life is not good. You must shut down a lot of location services in order to preserve battery life. If you leave many of the default setting untouched you will constantly have to charge the phone. -

"This is one amazing device!"

Global Phone capability
iMessageCons Battery Life is poor.
Summary Everyone already knows about how popular the iPhone is, and after finally purchasing one, I'm happy to report that I'm a member of the following. This phone is far and away the most polished smartphone out there. It almost never freezes or struggles to handle a website. The inclusion of iMessage with the new os is crucial to those of you who travel abroad a lot.
The device itself is sexy as ever. The screen is so beautiful that I often find myself just messing around with the menus. The touchscreen is amazingly responsive.
I have to say, I've always envied people who had iPhones, and now that I own one, I am glad to report that the envy is justified.
