Pros Slim design, fast speed, slick iOS interface
Cons Screen is tiny at 3.5" and at this resolution could use an upgrade, phone is pricey for an "updated" model that introduces few features, using this phone on the Sprint network will give you a lackluster experience, price is way too high for a phone that a
Summary The iPhone 4S is the phone of high expectation, but flat out doesn't deliver a next-gen experience over the iPhone 4. Yes, it is noticeably faster. Yes, it still has the slick iOS design. But Apple has strangled this phone's potential. A 3.5" screen? At least 4" would have provided some much needed finger room. No Flash? Sure, its a dying technology, but too many sites use it for it not to be included at this point. $199? AT&T has 4.3" Android qHD phones for $99 with Flash and other options.
iPhone 4S may be selling well, but its underwhelming performance may lead Apple to some real problems in the future if they don't offer a TRUE upgrade that people other than Apple fans can really get into. Oh, and the high cost could be reduced a little... $199 is way too high for an iPhone that is barely an upgrade. They should be selling iPhone 4's for $49 and iPhone 4S base models for $99... It doesn't seem like a next-gen phone, and Apple needs to be careful about becoming the next Blackberry if it wants to re-introduce an old phone as something "new". Siri could easily run on older iPhone models, it is a software innovation - not a hardware innovation.
With this having been said, just like the latest Blackberry, the iPhone is still a good phone, but Android's open development approach has innovated much more quickly. iPhone 4S doesn't seem to have kept up.
Pros Put one in your hand and you will see everything you need to know.
Cons I went into Sprint last week and bought an iphone4. The girl and I were talking at the counter and she told me that withing a few months there will be an app out for Siri around the 30.00$ price range.
Summary It's expensive and you get a nice label. But it's the best.
Pros Amazing screen, great camera for a cell phone, lots of quality apps, and unlimited data with Sprint! iCloud has the phone ready right out of the box when you log in. If you plan on getting an iPhone I highly recommend you set up an iCloud account first an
Cons Sprint 3G is not as fast as ATT 3G. Also would have been nice to have 1 gig of ram instead of 512 megs like last years iPhone 4.
Summary I have been waiting for Sprint to get the iPhone since they came out, but mainly since the 4 came out. Its about time you could get the best phone for the best/most competitive price monthly.
Pros Unbelivably fast and the camera is awsome. Has always IOS runs buttery smooth. Siri is unbelivable the interaction with voice control. The dual Core A 5 chip is definitly a huge improvement from iphone4 has well has the amazing camera now 8 megapixels.
Cons The only big Con to me is the screen size should have been bumped up at least to 3.7 but thats not that big a deal to me.
Summary My opinion is getting the Iphone4s is definitly worth it and now that its on the Now Network with unlimited data theres no better carrier for the iphone 4s!!!!!
Pros Phone is great. Easy to use, fantastic features. Would recommend to anyone...but not on Sprint. That is why I give one star. Apple should be ashamed that they allow this phone on a worthless carrier. Read on...
Cons If you have any plans of getting this phone on Sprint DON'T DO IT! Search the internet for Sprint Slow iPhone and read away. They cannot handle the demand. I can barely use any features without Wi Fi. I don't live in the boonies. This is in Chicago!
Summary Nothing but problems with Sprint's data speeds. They promise fixes, but nothing happens. They advertise that they have unlimited data, what they don't advertise is that their data speeds are unbelievably slow in comparison to the other iPhone Carriers. Do your research before choosing a carrier. And, I strongly recommend to stay away from Sprint, or you will be stuck and sorry. And Apple
