Pros phone still keeps on ticking
Cons not bullet proof
Pros Sharp Retina Display, solid build quality, Siri voice assistant, slightly better Camera, the same iPhone we all know and love(ed)
Cons 1. As CNET said, the Screen is FAR too small at this point. If you are in your 30s or 40s, you WILL have trouble with the small screen because it leads to eye strain. Go for a larger screen device.
2. Too many! The battery life on the 4S is terrible. I'
Summary I can't say I would recommend this device. The previous generation iPhones were revolutionary, however, good things never last and it seems that Apple has reached the end of it's glory road for this one.Update, I would give this product 4.5 stars now. I had a fault phone and Apple replaced it promptly.
The iPhone 4S is simply stuck in the same period that the iPhone 4 was in. After almost 2 years of waiting, all consumers get is a slightly upgraded processor and camera with the same form factor. On top of that, the tiny screen is just no excuse at this point especially since phones like the Galaxy S II have a 4.3 inch, vibrant screen.
Furthermore, the iPhone loses its main advantage in this incarnation, the previously superb battery life. The battery on this model is pretty terrible and this is the first time I see myself saying that Android phones have better battery (At least the galaxy S II)
I would surely recommend you look at the Galaxy S II as it's a far better option for anyone who wants to make a smart and sound purchasing decision.
