"Only a little better than the 4"
on by Moose316Pros Faster Processor. Siri. 8mp camera
Cons No 4g. Same design.
Summary If you were a fan of the 4, this is basically a quicker 4 with a better camera. Siri is cool but will get tiresome and will be a useless feature just like facetime. The lack of 4g really is disappointing. How can you sign up for 2 more years with 3g speeds when everyone else will be at 4g?

"I don't mind the 3.5" screen. Siri Rocks."
on by rspetterborgPros Siri is A fun useful addition. iCloud has a kink every now and again, but it's pretty useful. the app store is huge. The phone is well made and feels natural. the interface and setup was easy. the storage is useful. The small touches of quality make
Cons Battery could be a bit better. Price is way too high. iCloud will not sync my word, excel, or ppts. It's a pain that I can't print to a non-airprint printer.
Summary I upgraded from a blackberry. The support on the device is huge, where the blackberry was minimal. The iPhone has a gorgeous screen and Siri will make your life wonderful. The customizable options and settings are useful. It's a decent size. The phone for any mac user is an obvious choice. For others, weigh the choices, then convert.

"Personal data backup system virtually non existent."
on by RCWCTPros Nice toy. Expensive but ok for kids.
Cons Itunes interface automatically backs up data when you connect to computer in a sync. BUT the software only provides for ONE record backup! So if you have a problem it just backed it up and your Restore option will give you back your problem. Useless!
Summary The bells and whistles may be grand BUT if you are a serious business guy THIS IS NOT THE PHONE SYSTEM for you.

"A solid phone, but overhyped."
on by il2117Pros - UI is fairly smooth, gestures are intuitive
- iCloud is useful in syncing with my other devices
- design looks better than iphone 4Cons - the selling point, Siri is inadequate and not very useful
- camera isn't as great as people make it out to be
- price is too high
- overheats a lot, crashes some games I play (scramble with friends for one). maybe I'm too fast at the games? hahaSummary Overall, it's a competent and good-looking phone. I regret buying it simply because I'm locked into it for 2 years, and there are better phones out there/about to come out.
The overheating thing is pretty bad actually. Happens in a couple of cases, with videos or games. I play scramble with friends a lot, and it overheats and crashes maybe every 4-5 times I play. I usually have to force quit and take a break. I went to the Apple store and they said it was normal... it certainly doesn't seem normal to me though. -
"Really Cnet? Best over all smart phone? Really?"
on by cable2380Pros Every single comparison from loading to camera and video recording, honeycomb vs Os5, the HTC and Samsung phones that are out there are are blowing away the Iphone 4s. 9 out of every 10 aspect is in the android family favor. But you still side with the
Cons Cons? That a site which you depend on for tech reviews is so completely biased when it comes to Mac. It's blatant, in your face and in the realm of ridiculous.
Summary You can count on C-nets reviews, as long as the device is not up against a Mac product. Regardless of basic tech spec facts, it will loose.
