Pros: Excellent true 8 megapixel camera.
    Great gym and running companion.
Construction is a pleasure. Just the right size for everyone to handle comfortably.
    Screen is gorgeous.
Siri helps me more than I expected when it comes to setting up daily reminders, app

Cons: Battery life could of been better.
Would of loved a bigger screen, while still keeping same dimensions.
No distinguishable physical differences between last years model.
Unfortunately I still suffer from dropped calls (AT&T).

Summary: I "was" a big Android fan ever since it surfaced. Switching to the iPhone 4S wasn't an easy choice but in the end there are no regrets. You see, I enjoy the openness of Android but now I see that all these years there were two elements that I was missing. An excellent camera that I can actually use during day and night and a device that can be an effective workout companion. The iPhone 4S finally took care of those issues. The camera is a joy to use and I'm glad to know that it won't disappoint. I can go out to a late night event and not worry about having sub par or pathetic pictures because I didn't bring along
    my dedicated camera.
In regards to having an iPhone as a gym companion... It really works out for the best. I can run outside and track my runs and I can also listen to my favorite gym songs without a problem. Android device can do these things but they just don't do it as effectively. The iPhone 4S just has the right form factor, apps, and quality to do it better.

I may not have the ability to customize my phone as much as I did so with Android but the pros of having an iPhone out beat such ability. In the end you just can't go wrong with an iPhone. Apple has won me over and I'm glad to say that I'm in the iPhone league. I may not have the the biggest screen or the biggest spec's but everything just works flawlessly.

Last but not least, Siri. I didn't think that I would be using it much when I purchased the iPhone 4S but I'm surprised to say that I do. Many might say that it is a gimmick but I beg to differ. Siri is there at times when going through your phone is not an easy option. I have been able to accomplish many tasks while running or biking that wouldn't have been possible before. Being read a text that just came in,
setting up a reminder that just came into mind and even requesting to play a specific "power song" needed for that last extra mile. Siri is in fact an excellent assistant that would only get better as it matures and integrates other apps.

If you are an Android user as I was, and are looking for the next big thing, than the iPhone 4S might just be that device you were looking for.

THANK YOU for going in depth about the camera. I've weeded through all the reviews so far in hopes of something more than "ZOMG 8MP CAMERA GUYZ!!!1!" That's one of the big things I'm looking for if I make the jump to a smartphone, is one with a camera that will more or less replace my point and shoot unless I know I'm going somewhere special.
