Pros Lightweight, VirginXtras, Text messaging, LCD Backlighting, Large sub LCD, Bright keypad, Check your balance right on the phone, Flexible payment options available, Always have a signal
Cons They'd discontinued it.
Summary I love this phone. For one, many people take for granted the web on this phone. Many prepaid phones doesn't even have the web available to it; It costs to use the web on phones with plans.
It's light and durable and stick it right in your pocket. Great for a backup if you get your primary phone lost, stolen or taken away.
Cool backlighting colors for this flip phone. Classy appearance to this phone. (This phone was shown several times on the movie, The Johnson Family Vacation!)
Speakerphone can be handy in those car situations. Free to receive text and the sub LCD in the front is large and displays all the information you need to see in a phone.
"Good phone"on by Aprilia
Pros Compact design, easy to use, durable, battery life
Cons Poor signal strength
Summary I've had this phone for almost 3 years now and to this day still works like a charm. It has a few neat features. The only thing I don't like about is reception can be bad. But all around it works great.
I recently replaced it with another Audiovox phone (Flasher V7 CDM8910) which so far is also a great phone.
Pros Small size and battery life.
Cons Ringer not loud enough outdoors.
Summary This does what it is supposed to do. It is a good phone for a low price. I didn't buy it for games or as a PDA. I have been using it for 1 1/2 years. The battery lasts for days. The small size and light weight make it very easy to carry. Performance doesn't seem to be any better or worse than other phones. I am so happy with it and the Virgin service we are going to replace my wife's Cingular Nokia with a Vox 8610.
"Worst coverage ever"on by bigboy2
Pros I guess the calculator works alright
Cons poor extras, horrrrible coverage
Summary This phone (virgin mobile) is a headache more than anything. The phone only works when you can see a tower, and if you are anything more than a 1/4 a mile away (or indoors) the phone straight up does not work. Even if you are lucky enough to get a signal, chances are you will either be dropped mid conversation or you wont be able to understand what the other person is saying anyway.
When I told Virgin about how poorly my phone performed, they basically told me that I was screwed and that they weren't going to do anything about it. Stay away from Virgin Mobile!
Pros The key backlighting is cool
Cons No features, bad quality sound, extremly bad battery life
Summary menus and key backlighting are the only good things.... I'll leave it at that.
