  • "Great messaging device!"

Pros: I love the new smaller design.

    The track pad works great.

    5.0 OS is wonderful.

3.2 Megapixel camera is a nice improvement.

    Great stereo quality.

Cons: I know the device is smaller, which I like but the screen is significantly smaller than the Bold 9000.

Also, the web browser is HORRIBLE.

Summary: I upgraded from a Bold 9000. I really like the 9700 much better. This phone is a great messaging device. However the web browsing experience is SO horrible and not improved whatsoever from the Bold 9000. I hope RIM fixes this so that they are on par with competition. Using 3rd party apps like Opera Mini don't make the web browsing experience any better. If RIM doesn't fix this I'm bouncing to the iPhone or Android.
