"Great smartphone for business"4.5 starson by tkab
Pros: The keys and optical track pad are responsive and quick. The camera and video camera take decent pictures and videos for a phone. Has wi-fi and gps. Can use characters from other languages that you don't find in many other phones.
Cons: Smaller screen than the first Bold 9000. Doesn't have OS6. Uses proprietory USB cable that isn't standard. Web browser is basic, but not bad.
Summary: When I got my first Blackberry Bold, the 9000, I wanted a smartphone that could replace my phone, Palm Zire, mp3 player in one shot. I was happy with that phone, but with the 9700 I am ecstatic. This phone is aesthetically pleasing, responsive, and has a multitude of uses. It is really designed to be used in a business setting, which I use it for, but if your willing to put out the bucks its not bad at all as a personal phone. This phone isn't intended to be an entertainment device like the iPhone. The Blackberry App Store has many apps to choose from, and you are not constrained by RIM to buy apps that only they approve of thru their store. This is a great phone.
