Only 2G, trackball is mechanical, not optical. Difficulty with media transfer (encrypted photos) from device to PC
Summary
For a BB that's "last generation" (No 3G, old trackball) its one of the best BBs that I have used. The voice over WiFi (proprietary to T-Mobile) is amazing-seamlessly transferring calls from the mobile network to an open or work/ home protected network without call interruption
