Pros: If the phone worked, it's pretty nice phone. Good camera, good size, pretty decent internet speed.
Cons: Phone has major known fatal software errors.
Summary: I originally owned a blackberry curve and decided to be a loyal customer and purchase the new torch. I read the decent reviews online from CNET and decided with the sale price and good reviews I would buy this phone for myself and my husband. About a month after owning the phone, I set it on the charger Christmas night to find it the next morning DEAD, with a strange terminator-red blinking light. Next day took the phone into the Verizon store, where they also tried to charge it and came back 15 mins. later explaining that these new blackberry torch phones have a fatal software error that causes the phone to die to never be turned on again. This is a KNOWN error. Sales rep. ordered a refurbished phone to be delivered within 48 hrs. 2 weeks later, my husband's phone has the same fatal error, without his phone's battery completely draining. Again, we went into the Verizon store. I asked if we could exchange/return the phones with no luck since the problems occurred after the 14 day period. I asked if Verizon could replace the phone in-shop, they said no. I asked Verizon why would they be selling a phone with a known defect, and the sales rep. this time said he personally would never recommend this phone to anybody. To say the least, I feel ripped off twice from RIM and Verizon. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!!!!Update Jan 25, 2011: I am waiting for my third replacement Blackberry Torch now. The latest phone has a hardware problem and will not connect to the internet :(
