Pros: Relative to the G1 I already own, this has nothing to offer.

Cons: Missing: (1) Headphone jack, (2) pinching, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY (assuming b/c it was not addressed above), (3) PROGRAM STORAGE SPACE LIMITED BY INTERNAL MEMORY! Intended to host programs from an INFINITE MARKET, HTC allows no space. BRILLIANT!

Summary: See my Cons B4 you buy! I am leaving T-Mobile for Sprint and it's Palm Pre, and I have been a loyal customer for 6 years.

I agree with the other person. Sprint is not the place you want to be. I have a few friends who have sprint and somehow charges just magically appears on their bills. As much as I love the design and functions of the Palm Pre, I would NEVER switch to sprint unless they change their plans and services. You are basically going to the worst phone company ever out of all the wireless companies. You're better off going to Verizon Wireless.

Join Sprint if you want, I've been with them and their bills and crappy customer service will kick your butt. Palm Pre is nice, but that does not make me want to jump ship. If that was the case, might as well go with the iPhone and AT&T.

This dude is right on. Whatever CNET is smoking, pass it on over to me. If this were any other device it would get a 2 star rating. But because its Google it gets 4 stars. The virtual keyboard blows and there's no expansion. It does not use a 3.5m headphone jack. Good lord, with all the other options available why would anyone want it?
