No bluetooth dialing until the 2.2 upgradeSummary: At first, I was disappointed in the phone. After using the Htc Hero, I expected the Desire to have a great speakerphone. I was wrong. It is tinny and shrill sounding. Plus the battery life was terrible. However, after using this phone for over a month, I have become very fond of it. It is definitely a keeper. It connects quickly to the internet. It gets reception where my other phones could not. It is a beautiful phone considering it is a touchscreen. I have no problem dialing or sending texts with the touchscreen keypad. It is very responsive, yet not overly so. I do like the trackpad--if that is how you refer to it. It is better than a trackball. I have also found that with time, the battery life has gotten better. ??? Were it not for speakerphone quality--or lack thereof, I would have given it a five star rating
