Cons The first phone I had begin turning off and shutting down randomly after it's big upgrade. Now it seems to have decided to erase all text messages randomly. I've tried talking to Verizon and they're uncooperative and blame an app I downloaded. But when

"I am disappointed"
on by Jude526Pros global and having a front facing camera
Cons the design lacks compared to the original Incredible
Summary I was thinking of upgrading to the new Incredible because I have the original and LOVE it.
But after playing with it, decided to not go forward with it. For someone who is new to Android and doesn't need 4G but does need a global device, this is the phone to get. It will give you reliability when overseas as well as being reliable on the best network VERIZON.
Having the original Incredible, I am spoiled by the style, with the red accents. It is an awesome 3.7 and although the new one has a larger, 4.0 screen, it isn't enough to get my attention.
New users are going to think the build is great, but comparing the two, I think the build quality of the original is superior to the new one. I don't want to ruffle feathers, but this device at full retail is also priced lower than the original Incredible, which retailed close to 600.00 I think HTC short changed this device. The red accents make the original really stand out. I am also disappointed in the fact that the new Incredible doesn't have that much new features and benefits. The only thing that makes it good is the fact it is global......so for the traveler who has to have their phone with them this is a good one. It isn't a bad phone, but it isn't for me. And I did email HTC my dislikes on this device.
I just don't see anything to make me want to have it. My original Incredible has lived up to its name and I am loving it. It hasn't let me down and am pleased to have it..........this was a top notch device and it is sad it was discontinued. Too bad its design wasn't carried forward in the Incredible 2 with the 4.0 It is boring when it is turned off..............sorry. I know there are going to be those who are mad at me, but that's what makes America great. We are allowed to give out opinions. -
"This phone is a decent phone for calling...."
on by legolasmlPros * Good call quality
* Screen is pretty good
* Touch buttons are VERY responsive
* Phone is pretty speedy with everyday activity
* Global phoneCons * No 4G
* Can't hold on to a decent signal in some areas
* Battery hinge becomes slightly loose after some time.
* Running Android 2.2 Froyo (No Gingerbread) :(
* No dual core processorSummary All and all, this is a pretty good phone when you want to call people with. But the constant signal changing on this phone is causing problems sometimes when you're on 3G and it suddenly changes into 1X. This phone is also very responsive in every day activity that despite it not having 3G, it's still a pretty fast phone to browse the web with nonetheless.
