  • "Lightweight, fast and great display"

Pros: Lightweight (compared to an Evo or Moto Droid)
    Fast
    Display is very clear
    Battery life seems pretty good
    Great cameras!

Cons: Lots of preinstalled apps that I'll never use
No 4g (which I personally don't care about)
Screen washes out more than use to in sun (had a moto droid before)
No gingerbread (again, I don't care, but someone else might)

Summary: Coming from a Motorola Droid this has been a pretty big adjustment for me. There are a few things about the HTC design, etc. that I do not like at all as compared to Motorola... the notification light... I miss the colors from the Droid, I miss having a separate charging light from notification light. I HATE how HTC organizes contacts compared to Motorola, it's a disaster...will be searching for a contact organizer very soon.

This phone is so much lighter than the motorola droid, which isn't hard to do because it's a brick. It's very thin as well, much thinner as well, which has been an adjustment.

The cameras are both great quality! Have taken a lot of great pictures and videos already.

Overall, very pleased with the Incredible 2... just need to decide if those little motorola/htc differences are enough to move me back to a Motorola... if the Bionic comes out soon... my incredible could be traded in.

Two more things I consider cons about this phone...
    1. volume buttons are on the left side
    2. HATE where the charging port is. Bottom left side and if you're trying to type while it's plugged in, you're pretty much forced to do it landscape instead of portrait

In terms of the contact differences, it's really hard to explain, I would recommend going to a store and looking at an HTC so you can see. Just not as smooth or integrated as well as a Motorola, you have to link contacts manually sometimes... and I just don't like the layout of them either. I ended up with two facebook links for contacts, one links you to the contact information and the other to their actual profile. Still hunting for a replacement app

Been using my dinc2 for just about a month now and I'm very pleased with it... the things that bothered me, volume buttons, charging port, I still don't love but I've gotten use to those and overall really love my phone. Definitely would recommend it!

Please explain the differences between how HTC and Motorola organize contacts as I am presently choosing between the two. Thanks.
