5.0 starson by xxxD44xxxPros: Excellent balance of performance, size and battery power. The slide-out keyboard feels very solid and works great. Phone is a very good size, enough to feel solid, not so big that it's hard to handle.
Cons: Nothing significant comes to mind. I haven't had too much luck with the camera, though that may be operator error. The voice dial and voice search functions sometimes give pretty funny, though incorrect. interpretations of what I say!
Summary: This phone is perfect for me. I've tried both the EVO and the Optimus. One was too much for me, the other not enough. The EVO Shift has the best of both, plus an excellent slide-out QWERTY key board. With just a little care, I get 2 days use out of a single battery charge. I haven't had great results with the Telenav navigation, as it often suggests pretty ridiculous routes. Overall, this phone is terrific. I couldn't be happier with it.

You might want to give Vlingo a try for voice control. I use it on my Moment, and it does a great job of interpreting me. My wife was convinced no phone would understand her, and was a little disgruntled that I was proven right in that Vlingo had no problem! :)
