"Great phone. Still not ready."3.0 starson by mobilelifenow
Pros: Huge Screen with great quality. Best PDA. Only touch screen phone that I have seen where I can actually type on without correcting every other letter. Built in FM Radio. Fast Processor. Built in GPS. Camera with flash. Amazing flashlight.
Cons: Pretty bad call quality on my phone. This may have been just my phone because no one else has complained. To much static. Very touch sensitive. Would randomly hang up on my calls and call someone else. Sometimes locked up and takes forever to reboot
Summary: Come on tmobile, HTC and Microsoft you are on to something finally. Fix the bugs. This Phone has the potential to blow IPhone and android phones out of the game. But I don't want to pay 500 dollars on a phone that randomly calls people and has a lot of static. Maybe in a few months I will try again. Had to take this one back. Yes the iPhone has a lot more apps. so does android. But this phone has way more potential. I have had the mda for years waiting for a decent phone. The touch Pro 2 almost had me because I like real key boards. But it fell a little short of what I was looking for. Got my daughter a new ipod touch. has fun apps and games. Just not for me. too hard to type on and to proprietary. If you try to use more than one computer to get music or movies from, your out of luck. No flash on camera. Just a toy compared to the potential of this phone. As far as the apps go, i do have to give props to apple for that. But with some apps coming out now, you will be able to run android apps on hd2 soon. Already available for touch pro 2. So you can have Microsoft office, a real pda that's not proprietary, add memory and battery without buying a new phone. And have Microsoft and android apps on one phone. Just fix the software and static noise on calls.A lot of replies to my review. I just read recently. I'm still with the MDA. Been keeping up with tmobile updates through reviews. Hasn't changed a lot of reviewers mind yet. Look what Sprint did with the EVO. Great phone. Something with software or what tmoile has done with it. Look at the unlocked HD2 reviews. Still some problems with software, but not near as many complaints. Sprint was smart to put android on it. My sister in law has a EVO. She loves it. Looks like the only thing I can hope for is windows 7 update for this one. The samsung vibrant is a nice option. Its screen is amazing but the shell looks cheap and no flash. Saw a demo with cracked shell at tmobile store. A lot lighter than this phone though. Waiting for the android update to come out and see what sprint does with their version of samsung phone. Its supposed to have a keyboard and a flash. Tmobile is slipping a little. I have been with them for 7 or 8 years now. We will see if they step up.
