"GREAT PDA PHONE"
Pros: You name it - everything!
Cons: Back cover feels a little cheap but if that's my only complaint whoooo caaaaares
Summary: This phone rocks! My only complaint is the cover on the back (feels a little cheap). I wanted to give this phone a 9 1/2 because of that but CNET won't let you do that and I didn't think it deserved a 9 because of one little complaint like that so I had to go with a 10! I love WM6, there is no delay in the switching of the screen orientation as there was with the 6700. The screen is beautiful! This phone has everything you need and combines your PDA and phone in one nice compact package. There is nothing I could do with my dell Axim (that I will be selling on ebay) that I can't do on the 6800 - in fact I can do MORE on my new 6800 thanks to the phone feature and WM6 - I had a Treo 700p (sucked - loooots of lag) then a 700wx (great phone too but crappy screen and poor Palm support) and have moved on to this platform and couldn't be happier.Updated
I forgot to mention that you are better off reading USER opinions instead of CNET's opinion - who would you trust more, a company who tests a phone for a few hours or users who are married to these devices 24/7! They rated the 700p very well and that phone was horrible (visit http://blog.palm.com to see just HOW much trouble the phone has become for owners) and they rated this 6800 way lower than it should be rated! So as someone who fell into the trap of trusting a corporate review over the opinions of actual users (with the 700p), take it from me - read the USER opinions!

Ok, I need your help. I read every review on this phone and want to know just a bit more about it. Your reviews and comments clearly demonstrate that you know what you are talking about!
I used to have the PPC 6700 and grew to HATE it. Mainly because i am a Realtor and am the guy that is constantly on the phone driving and talking.
My main problems with it were two fold: screen was hard to see in any amount of daylight and without hard buttins it was hard to dial. The voice software sucked as well so I was forced to look when dialing and driving.
My second problem was I could not get one single Bluetooth headset to pair well with it. People either could barey hear me and background noises were ridiculously loud; or, i could not hear them. I tried everything regarding headsets.
So...is the Bluetooth good on this phone? If so, which headset do you use? Voice command software good? And is the battery life as bad as people make it out to be.
Any reply to joehildebrand@remax.net would be much appreciated. -
I have upgraded from the ppc 6600, pp 6700 and I thought that Sprint was going to go with the 6800. If this phone is what you say it is (I agree why did they rate it so low) then I am off to the store this morning. The great thing is with exchange server I don't have to transer anything, just put in the new sync info and it will download all my stuff atuo. Thanks for the info and as one to another we are merried to these devices 24/7 and have the real insight on whats good and whats not.
