Summary: I upgraded from an LG Vortex to the Rezound the day it was released, and it was well worth the money. With a 1.5GHz dual core processor and a 220MHz GPU, it can run things with zero lag that my old phone couldn't even be in the same room with. This phone is even faster than my HP Touchpad. It has lots of space for apps, music, videos, and files which is perfect because media looks and sounds AMAZING! The huge 720p screen lets you look at text or web sites without getting the screen door effect or a headache. You can't even see the pixels without a magnifying glass. Everything is so crisp.
If you had a Thunderbolt (or past flagship device), you know all these features suck battery life. HTC fixed that. My phone lasts a whole day with 4G on, GPS enabled, WiFi on (no sleep), Bluetooth off, and brightness medium. The GPS issues are fixed too. It gets a lock on GPS almost instantaneously. I expect it to last around two days with CM9 and a power saving kernel.
If you want a phone that will run anything out there, will have a strong development community, will still be reasonable in 2 years, and that has 4G, here it is.
