Cons: interface not as good as old Incredible
slow camera that takes blurred images indoors
Summary: I just bought one. And unfortunately I am already disappointed in a BIG way. I am coming from an HTC Incredible which is a phone I love. Although it needed the extended battery and the camera often took blurred images. Overall it was a great phone. I already see that this phone cannot match the Incredible. Photos are still blurred if the subject moves at all (indoor, well lit environment). The big FAIL is with the camera app itself though. With my Incredible at least after a blurred image was taken I could go to the gallery from the camera app and long press the screen or hit the menu button to get options such as delete (who wants to keep around that crappy image you just took), but this new camera app has NO WAY of deleting an image from the gallery accessed from the camera app! No way to SHARE from that gallery or anything! TOTAL FAIL! I have to exit the camera and open the gallery app to get options! It is hard to believe that HTC went backwards on this but they took two years and managed to create a phone that is not as good as the old one. More to come as I use the phone more.Ok, so phone would not let me edit photos before or at store (even Verizon tech tried), but now I find if I tap the screen if brings up options. So in fact it does allow editing of photos as well as a host of other options after taking a photo.

Updated on Nov 15, 2011After using the phone with the aux input in my car I have to say this phone has absolutely stunning audio quality. Not only that but it also plays well with Motorola Motospeak app. It automatically pauses the music through the output and reads the text message through the bluetooth ear piece and then switches back to the music. Seamless and perfect. Also the phone audio quality is perfect also, the person sounded like they were right next to me (other phone was also a Rezound). Overall this phone is turning out to be very good. Still disappointed in the camera, but maybe my expectations of a 2.2 f-stop aperture was too high (I think they are seriously stretching the truth on that to sell, lets face it a 2.2 aperture is something that costs over a grand on a real camera). Also the auto white balance is still a total failure in incandescent lighting (photos turn out yellow tinted).
Updated on Nov 18, 2011After extensively using this phone now I have to say I am loving it! Audio quality is amazing, even through the AUX of my car, it absolutely crushes my previous HTC Incredible for audio out. The screen is AMAZING. Sense UI looks fantastic with NO lag at all. I am a bit disappointed with the camera, but maybe I was expecting too much when it is advertised as f/2.2. The phone feels great in the hand, even with the extended battery on it. Also slides nicely into front pocket where I carry my phone. Tapered and rounded back are great. I have the extended battery. It is now 4pm and it is down 40%, and I have been using the hell out of it. The lock screen with it's four customizable instant access buttons really makes getting to a txt or email or camera instant. Also, like my Incredible the music player interface goes to the lock screen when music is playing so no need to unlock to pause, skip, etc. Oh, and call quality! Insanely good. So good they sounded like they were right next to me.
Updated on Nov 18, 2011I agree somewhat with the other previous Incredible owner that HTC went backwards a bit on some usability. I'm really hoping they do not go backwards even more with ICS. Personally I loved all the long press options which for the most part have been removed from the Rezound, probably in anticipation of ICS which I read also moves away from them. ALso, this phone does do instant shutter, but be prepared for blurr if you click faster than the focus (similar to the sample Galaxy Nexus shots being all blurred when using instant shutter)
