If you play around with rooting the phone, you'll never buy an Iphonee again. Wait and see how well it runs when you root it and open up the CPU to it's true speed of 1.566GHz, you'll go madddd.
I suggest xda-developers site and Mike1986's ROM or CoreDroid V2.5+.
I do not suggest you flash your Radio, I did and i don't have much issue with it, however the stock radio was just dandy.
