"Love it so far!" on by docdetroit99

Pros: I actually love the interface!!

Cons: Have not been able to upload old programs. Price! Rather expensive for any phone!

Summary: Just got it yesterday but love it so far.

"I'm Returning The Tilt 2" on by butera

Pros: The phone charges with a standard Blackberry charger. The keyboard is excellent and is easy to use. Call Quality is fantastic. Calls do not drop in the same areas my friend's iPhone calls do. The camera takes very nice pictures.

Cons: Internet Explorer freezes constantly. Opera is standard and is far better, but is very slow. Email queries for a password intermittently. Battery life is paltry, at best. Wired earphone users need to share/use the same plug with the charger.

Summary: I purchased this phone the first day AT&T offered it. The phone replaces a Blackberry Bold. The email interface leaves me wanting much more. Emails do not come through all the time. Sometimes the email works and sometimes the email does not work. I've tinkered with the settings over and over and there still is an issue. AT&T customer support does not know much about the phone since it's so "new."

Call quality is the best I've heard, ever! You can set the call volume to adjust automatically and filter noise at the same time.

I don't get dropped calls where my friend's iPhones fail miserably.

There appear to be a plethora of software issues and the screen often freezes when using Internet Explorer. Microsoft touts these issues are "fixed" with the new platform?

Moreover, the battery lasts just a few hours. I've run out of battery juice on several occasions. When using the camera at a football game, the battery died after two hours of usage. This is after taking only 25 pictures.

The Windows Marketplace Icons and third party applications do not work well because much of these lead to links that are "under construction" for the new Windows Operating Platform.

Given that the Tilt 2 battery drains after adjusting every imaginable power saving function, I'm returning this product. HTC needs to work on battery longevity. Microsoft needs to fix errors (screen freezes and icons with web links to "nowhere") before releasing a new platform. I'm not going to be their beta tester and pay for the phone at the same time.

I really wanted to label this "The iPhone Killer," but the HTC Tilt 2 leaves me wanting more and I really miss the Blackberry Bold. It's a shame because I had such high hopes for something better. I'm tempted to get the iPhone, but given the AT&T iPhone reception issues, I'll pass.

After tinkering with the Tilt 2 for four straight days, I'm returning it to AT&T and am going back to the Blackberry Bold.

I meant to write: There is not a standard 3.5mm headphone jack so you need to use a bulky adaptor to use 3.5mm headphones.

I'm having issues with the zoom bar and think the iPhone interface is far superior after using my friend's iPhone for just a few minutes. Windows needs to do better to come up-to-speed with the iPhone interface.

Again, why did HTC engineers overlook a standard headphone jack?

To those that think my review is "fake," I can assure you it's not. I really wanted to like this phone. While call quality is superb, I returned this for an iPhone (crappy battery life and call quality). At least the iPhone apps work and the web links don't freeze or send you to the ether. I don't have to press the screen hard to follow a link or get an email with the iPhone. Enjoy!
