  • "A very welcome replacement for the Wing"
    on by Uncle_J

Pros Screen, Keyboard, The new touch interface is nice as is the increase in speed and memory over the Wing.

Cons For me just the price I had to pay for the upgrade is the only issue so far.

Summary I upgraded from a Wing that I purchased to replace a cellphone and Pocket PC that I had to pack with me all the time. I really liked the Wing and it was a very useful tool. I did find some short comings in frequently running out of memory and that my associates with similar devices seemed to have better performance. So far I am really impressed with this new phone.

  • "Has potential."
    on by Yngturk

Pros Good solid feel. Nice functionality. With big, clunky fingers I love the QWERTY keyboard with space between the keys, but you don't have to use it, as a touch-screen keyboard is also available without having to open the phone up.

Cons Applications are sometimes slow to load, and the phone has locked up on me several times. The worse part is that 3G service is pitifully scarce on T-Mobile and anything you do on the web is painfully slow.

Summary A good phone, but the slow speed of the T-Mobile data network is a big hinderance. I also tested the Palm Pre and found it to be a better, faster phone overall -- and on a much faster network (Sprint) -- but the keyboard is smaller. The Pre never locked up on me.

    Updated on May 11, 2010

Update after six months: Still very happy with the phone and its features, but increasingly frustrated with T-Mobile. Dropped calls and the worst signal coverage in the industry are the biggest complaints. If you like this phone and want to use it outside urban areas, go with another carrier.

  • "Best Windows Mobile phone to Date"
    on by merdinh

Pros Big screen with awesome resolution. The best keyboard i have used so far.
The speeds of this phone are amazing using windows mobile. The interface is really easy to use.

The dual speakers work really well as speaker phone, or as a music player.

Cons the only thing i miss from the touch pro is the FLASH

Summary I really love this phone because of its ability to do mostly anything you would do on your home pc like email internet, and the big screen really makes a difference. The speakers are just awesome. I would say this is the best htc windows mobile phone out their. The battery life has improved from the touch pro.
