It seems like everyone's beef with this thing is its lousy data entry. People (bonnie cha, cha, cha) should know that there are 3rd party data entry apps that reconcile this issue.
For $10 you can get something like SPB Full Screen Keyboard, which as the name implies is a FULL SCREEN KEYBOARD. The keyboard is in landscape, providing much more space than the iphone's keyboard. The area of the 'keys' are like 4 or 5 times the size of the Treo's and Black Berry's keys.
I've got something similar for my palm and data entry is a breeze, no more graffiti.

I'm not sure why people always complain about "keyboards" with these devices. There's handwriting recognition. And if you don't write like they teach you in grade school anymore, it takes a few minutes to set up personalized handwriting. It works even with script / cursive writing. As a matter of fact, I find that it works better for me in script! What puzzles me further is why these professional editors don?t even mention this feature! They don?t really do their homework. I mean look at the iPhone review. Unless you?ve never used another smartphone before or are a really tech-illiterate user, that device sucks so bad and they gave it an 8.0!
