4 - ... Not enough room to list all consSummary: This phone is terrible. I actually went back to my old JAMin i-mate running Windows Mobile 5.0. Using HTC Touch 2 I lost so much functionality and gained very little. It is a good looking phone with no substance. It is difficult to navigate, lacks voice command and voice calling.

Pros: GPS, Radio
Cons: Very slow and stops responding all the time.
Summary: I often have to remove the battery as the unlock screen slider doesn't unlock the phone, you can slide it but it doesn't work. About half of the time it is very slow to respond and hangs for at least a minute when you change from one mode to another e.g. from text to phone. The interface is very poorly designed and a pain to use. Very hard to find Apps for.

Pros: It had a handy little weather application. Exchange server connectivity and synchronization was good.
Cons: On the Telecom New Zealand network, this phone has had the most customer complaints. Most are to do with poor signal quality. Also this phone has a lot of issues with losing data connections, easily fixed by taking out the battery, but annoying.
Summary: Choosing this phone was the worst mistake I've made with our mobile communications.

Pros: Faster CPU and more memory than original Touch.
Cons: Two of the five hardware buttons are just to promote Windows Mobile as they really provide no meaningful purpose. Also, they removed the usual 5 way button and replaced it with a 1 way button. Is that progress? There is no voice recognition.
Summary: The operability of this phone has been crippled by the removal of the 5 way button and no voice recognition software. I would return this phone if my 15day return period was not up.

Pros: I love this phone! It might not do a few things but it does sooo much. Ive had my phone for about 3 months now and it has been the best phone ive ever had and i have had some really good phones(2)iphones sidekick 08 tmobile dash htc diamond palm pixi
Cons: cant seem to find custom skins/cases and themes for this phone (n0t wallpaper) seems non-existing and i do tend to dislike the onscreen keyboard
Summary: My interface is different on my phone than yours is, mine carries the touchflo 2d theme and its pretty nice! This phone is fast it doesnt take a lifetime to turn on.The homescreen is good your basic important info on display such as your appointments time calender and weather features and their settings are just one tap away which cuts out all the hassle of having to search through a bunch of file and folders to just be able to change time or set your alarm. Next to that you use the touch features and just slide over to the contact icon, i just want to say it is truely nice to have 12 contact picture and name on display in nice little ,easy to touch and hit the right contact, that accessible and i have big hands. On top of that you can arrange it so that when you tap one of the 12 contacts you can have it arranged that you can call or either text that person with just a tap, one of there features is you can also view every time you talked to that person at what time, and time duration without having to fish through everyone you talked to for the last 2 days to find out when you last talked to that specific person. Sliding over to the messaging icon you can easily view all your messages in the order they came in by swiping your finger up or down and it also combines the sms with mms messages whick is less of a hassle than having to go to a sms inbox then to a mms inbox to check to different messages the same person sent you and goodness forbid you have to figure i which came first or last and if you want to see only that contacts conversation then you just tap there name. Next the mail box you are able to view all your mail with just a tap or a swipe and it is less confusing since they have a small icon on the side for easy email composing and the other icons keeps your emails from seperate accounts seperated but still easy access, I love how anything on the web/online feature make the word readable yet contained in a not so big screen. Sliding on to the globe/world icon you have your browser plus a swipe down gives you your bookmarks which i do believe in one of your more detailed setting features you are able to decide that when you tap that globe/world you can chose which mobile browers you prefer such as skyfire, bing, opera mini etc, cool because certain ones do certain things better and its your choice which one is at your finger tip. Moving on to the pictures i like how you can view your picture youve taken and access your camera/ video recorder on one special page but i dislike the fact that the camera itself isnt all that great plus its short of a flash but the quality of sharpness in the pictures and video recording depth did shock me. Moving on to the music not icon you have your touch mp3 player ( i always wanted one of those! a larger micro sd chip makes a dream come true). Sliding to th weather icon its accuracy varies but its mostly not to far off even with the weekly overview at the bottom of the screen and you can check it from locations across the world or just the major towns in your state ( the one of the home screen shows weather on your town). Moving on to the map and magnifying glass you have your map search ( this is BAD! AND MEAN IN THAT GOOD MY PHONE IS SO MUCH MORE BETTER THAN YOURS WAY)This is how gps is suppose to do when it meets a map!! I type something in that search bar and it pulls up everything in whatever area i want to, not only that if i typed in a certain place it would pull up everything with that name and you can also cross out some of the choices by doing a more detailed criteria you dont even have to now the specific name of the place you can type in "coffee" nd it will pull up all the coffee shops / places that serve coffee where ever yo want it to and it gives you the option to call that person at that address and the gps is very accurate, out does the one in my car although that one talks and gives a bigger picture. Sliding over to the next icon is your settings the basics, next icon is your 18 easy access program apps ( took a long type to find great apps for this phone but the apps themselves that i was able to get for this phone plus were free makes this phone great because it puts the finishing custom touch of whatever you want you phone to have or be able to do at just a tap. This phone reminds me of one of a expensive computer all into a small device that i can talk on. This review is just the tip of the iceberg for all mobile geeks like me. Thanks HTC for this one 5 star phone
