"Bought this Phone for my 13 year old daughter."
5.0 starson by mmccreaPros: Small size for little hands, Google Android phone with very colorfull screen and icons.
Rubber back for good grip.
lock button
many nice ring tones
WiFi
Good speed and good battery life.
Adjust screen brightness automaticly.
She likes it :).Cons: No front facing camera for Video Chat, No Micro SD Card Slot that we have been able to find as of yet.
Summary: She has has 3 phones in the last few years. LG Xeon (Not bad for 1st kids sell phone), she also had a BlackBerry Storm 2 which she also loved but droped and broke the screen.
My daughter was going to buy the new BlackBerry Curve, but liked this instead. Apps are very important to kids and by using the Gmail client as soon as she signed into her Gmail account it pushed all her contacts into her address book right away for the phone.
This phone was bought at BestBuy.ca and we had a $ 5.00 per month no questions asked protection package, which we bought for the LG Xeon. She dropped the LG phone and the screen quit working, so when we took it back to BestBuy Store they had no LG Xeon anylonger so replaced her broken LG with the HTC WildFire S for FREE and also transfered the 5.00 per month protection plan for 3 years over to the HTC.
So buying the warrenty with a Kid's phone is a must and worth every penny.
Thanks BestBuy.ca
Cheers,
Michael McCrea

If you haven't located the sd slot yet...it's under the battery cover. Hope this helps
