Pros: Amazingly fast, great multitasking, great design. Before this phone, I was a dedicated android user (only because windows wasn't there yet) and I owned a Galaxy S. The galaxy is smaller and weighs less but oddly enough the HTC feels lighter.

Cons: It would be nice if there was a notification of some sorts for new email, messaging, etc. I guess I'm just accustomed to Android and the light up soft keys to let me know of any notifications.

Summary: A number of reviews stated that a con was the lack of apps. Yes there is a lack of apps and I notice also but I wouldn't say that is a con of the HTC phone. The reviews are about the phone, not the OS.

If you want an amazing phone and are anti-apple (which is totally understandable) then windows 8 is the way to go and HTC Windows 8X is the perfect phone to complement and amazing OS.
