Summary: I had been an Android user for years and looked at all my options when I decided to cut my contract and pay to leave Sprint who's service was nowhere near what Verizon's is. I considered all android phones as well and ended up narrowing it down to this phone and the Galaxy SIII. The Galaxy is a great phone I am sure but the user interface of this phone is superior and its a beautiful at a great size.
I have downloaded apps, purchased apps and while the application list is smaller than others, it is growing. The app I miss most is Pandora which has been announced to be added the first part of this year is the only major app I am missing. The 3rd party app that I use now is decent, just not the same.
I have added music, pictures and customized the phone which is very easy. Yesterday was my first time listening w/headphones and while I thought Beats Audio may be a gimmick, the music sounded great. Finally its fast and there is something esthetically about the phone and the software that makes it just feel right.
It was a leap of faith to choose this phone as it must be for others, but I highly recommend you do.
