  • "Not too pleased"
    on by reedbro

    Pros Apps are ok

Cons In call volume is VERY low
    Battery life
Speaker volume is low as well
    Shuts off randomly

Summary Not a big fan of the phone, wish I would have spent a few extra bucks and got the LG

  • "Not as good as the LG Optimus"
    on by ShashaSpellz

Pros This phone has a lot of apps and is much faster than it's predecessor. 5MP camera, takes good pictures, clear call quality. Lots of apps and storage

Cons Camera isn't as clear or sharp as LG Optimus, freezes and restarts often. Force closes some apps at least once before starting them correctly. Don't like the touch screen buttons.

Summary Though this phone is much faster than the original, and has a 5MP camera, I do not think the images that it takes are as sharp as the LG Optimus which I also had previously. The on screen/touch buttons are not a good feature, they are too easily triggered while doing something. Though it is much faster than it's predecessor, it force closes some of my apps first and then opens them. I got the same results from the Ascend 1 after I hacked it and upgraded it's rom. I doesn't force close like this one and the buttons are set up better. But then, this is just my opinion.

Pros Fast Wi-Fi capability, Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS runs smooth, Value for the money

Cons No camera flash, short battery life but very common with smart phones

Summary Great phone and cant wait for the Huawei Vision 3D Android 2.3 phone releasing soon

Or the Huawei Glory that runs Gingerbread on a 1.4GHz chip!! Huawei is moving fast watch out might pass the best

  • "Decent Phone for the money"
    on by lecTronic

Pros 2.3 gingerbread. Battery life ok.

    Cons camera, more like 3mp's

Summary Over all the phone is ok. I have had many phones and this one is decent for a entry/mid level phone. People have to remember this is not a laptop and will not perform as such. It does more then enough for a phone or any phone for that matter. Its a phone! Not a laptop. The battery life is not all that bad. For peeps that don't understand battery operation I will make it simple voltage and current, ie: If you have speaker on '10', Brightness on '10' playing a game and texting, gps on and so on. Get my drift? Learn how to operate your device and you will be surprised how much longer your battery will last. The camera on the other hand is not that good 5mp's. With the setting on 5mp's I can draw a better picture in the sand! It reminds me of my first 1mp camera. Easy fix leave it on 3mp's. It looks a whole lot better. The build quality of the phone isn't that good, The back removable cover is about as thick as a piece duct tape but I think you can expect that for a 129 dollar device. The speaker distorts at full volume on slacker. I suspect they [huawei] are pushing it a little hard. If you want the greatest go shell out 400 plus. Over all good phone for the money. Thanks.

  • "I ended up buying it!!"
    on by amcook85

Pros Same as below (That review was mine as well)
    Live Wallpapers
    YouTube Vids
    Mp3 players
Tons of awesome apps to d/l
    Syncing Facebook with Contacts
    Reasonable pricing
    Touchscreen all the way
Internet is fast with wifi and 3G both
    5mp Camera
    Lightweight but

Cons Camera is a little off with the color but nothing I can't adjust on my pc

Summary I wrote the review below, and gave in yesterday and bought me this phone after buying it for my boyfriend. I love it!! So far it's the best phone I have ever had (had an old flip phone for 3 years before). I have no complaints thus far!!
