Summary Overall this phone is a winner, I love the way it looks. Has an expensive feel/look to it. The phone runs smoothly overall with some exceptions. I recommend it overall to everyone, just be aware that it is flawed. My biggest issue is the battery life and 600 mhz...if only it was a 1 ghz phone it would be amazing. The 2.3 Gingerbread is awesome and I love how easy it is to customize. IMO the best CricKet smart phone yet.
Pros It's a awesome phone doesn't lag much I would recommend it I have had it for 10 months and good on battery saver on intellegent!!
Cons It does have kinda a bad battery life but it's doesn't flat out suck does hold good battery life especially if you download the free easy battery saver and put it on intelligent you may lose your internet but it will come back up...
Pros When you get 3g the IHeartRadio works ok...
Cons Nearly unusable for conversation-both people talk at the same time and neither one can hear. Just worthless. The 3g is spotty here in San Diego (home of Cricket). No flash on the camera, one side camera port only, lousy navigator app.
Summary If you want talk, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHONE ON THIS NETWORK. I've used Cricket for several years with std talk/text phones and for $35 it is not bad. But with this smartphone at $55 month, it is nearly a total waste as I cannot have a two way conversation on this junk phone. The talk to text feature works very good and the SWYPE function is serviceable but asks for verification far to often.
Pros nice looking, large screen, has nice features and is fairly easy to use once you understand it. i like how you can customize it to suit your taste but i'm sure a lot of smartphones have this feature as this is my firs smartphone.
Cons constantly wants to be charged. butt dials way to easy. slow at times and hard to configure. radio is weak and wi fi, internet, and downloads suck the life out of the battery in a flash. i know they can build a way better phone than this, right?
Summary how hard would it be to make the battery last! come on, the battery life of this phone is terrible. every time i really need to do something on it it's almost dead. i had to buy an extra battery and charger just to make it through a day. this is my first smart phone and i didn't pay a lot for it but i expected better. like most things nowdays it's made in china and that usually means poor quality. the chinese are taking our money and giving us a lot of junk that has to be replaced a lot sooner than it ever should. we are supporting their economy and lifestyle. i miss my nokia phone and wished cricket would offer a nokia smartphone. why can't a good, inexpensive smartphone be made in the USA! i would gladly pay more for a U S made product anyday.
"Not worth it."on by daryyp
Pros Looks nice
Cons Not able to sync different email accounts, to access your emails you have to go through the internet browser and sign in into each of your email accounts. Poor call and speaker quality. Camera takes blurry pictures, it has no flash.
Summary VERY* VERY* VEEERYY DISSAPOINTED***** I regret getting this phone, should've just spent a little more on a better quality phone and went with another service provider, even if I would've had to sign a contract. Cricket's customer service (if you can call it that) is pathetic, they are not helpful at all and so are their phones ... You know that saying "you get what you pay for" its very true in this case, their phones & mo. fees might be cheaper than others but so are their phones and service... My recommendation to anyone who is considering buying this phone is DON'T DO IT! ...trust me! its a piece of crap. I hope to replace mine asap.
