    "SP3i = terrible quality" on

    Pros: The phone has great features and runs Windows Mobile for Smartphones 2003 Second Edition. Unfortunately, the functionality is unusable because of hardware failures.

    Cons: SP3i quality and i-Mate service both suck. After six weeks of use, my i-Mate SP3i is completely inoperable because the joystick and soft button keys are unresponsive. The joystick is the only method for navigating many screens, and the soft button keys

    "Kick ass Phone.. I would recommend one" on by josh64fx

    Pros: Nice display, Fast phone

    Cons: Joystick may be a pain the ass but they fixed that issue..

    Summary: I have the I-mate Sp3i US version GSM 900/1800/1900 and This device totally rocks... None of the Windows Mobile 2003 Smartphone OS devices support Wifi.. If the OS doesnt support wifi how do they expect the phone to have that feature?? Its made by HTC the same guys who also made the Audiovox SMT 5600.. These both phones have exactly the same features but the Sp3i has a different design. They say that the speaker phone is hard to use and you have to active it prior to making a call But its not True! You just hold the Green calling button while speaking for a second and it activates the speakerphone.. I thought these guys would know that.. This uses the same OS like the Audiovox SMT 5600 uses.. THey say operating the phone is complicated.. If a person gets used to the Windows Mobile 2003 OS, this should be a breeze. If the Audiovox SMT 5600 scoard 8.0 in review, 6.7 for this phone is TOO low.. THe voice quality is pretty good and I have no problem with it.. Infact I also own the Audivox SMT 5600. The joystick is awesome and you dont have to press the damm button in the Audiovox SMT 5600.. There are some pretty bad complaints about the joystick but they fixed that issue. I read that somewhere, cant find it right now... NONE Of the I-mate Phones are locked. They also say that this phone is expensive... Offourse if you want something that is not officially released in US, its going to be expensive. THis is a TOTAL BS cnet review...

    "Low Quality, Easy to break" on by mehmet

    Pros: Nice user interface, accustomed menus (if you're familiar with Windows), easy to check mails and schedule. All in one PDA & cellphone at a easy to carry unit

    Cons: Very poor quality, No wifi, limited bluetooth support

    Summary: I bought this unit from Dubai duty free in March. The unit's joystick first stopped working on one direction (1 had to push it hard to move right) then at the end of 2 months it totally stopped working in 2 months. Since joystick is mouse for this unit you almost can't do anything without it. When its end of call button stopped working as well I spared the unit at my closet to return at my next Dubai visit (hope I can return). I bought Ericsson 750i. I miss some of the specs I had at Sp3i but the unit is working perfectly and does most of the things that Sp3i. It won't make you mad in the middle of a business trip by not letting you hit "busy" button.

    "Handy phone, ideal for rigorous internet browsers." on by magstudios123

    Pros: This is one of the best windows enabled phones i have ever come across. Light weight, large screen and convenient to hold.

    Cons: No integrated wi-fi and only a limited number of contact storage space.

    Summary: A decent phone, well-priced, has all the features of a windows enabled phone, great sound, navigation features are mind blowing and a great display. Only the picture quality is not as great as other phones in its category.
