"Kick ass Phone.. I would recommend one"
Pros: Nice display, Fast phone
Cons: Joystick may be a pain the ass but they fixed that issue..
Summary: I have the I-mate Sp3i US version GSM 900/1800/1900 and This device totally rocks... None of the Windows Mobile 2003 Smartphone OS devices support Wifi.. If the OS doesnt support wifi how do they expect the phone to have that feature?? Its made by HTC the same guys who also made the Audiovox SMT 5600.. These both phones have exactly the same features but the Sp3i has a different design. They say that the speaker phone is hard to use and you have to active it prior to making a call But its not True! You just hold the Green calling button while speaking for a second and it activates the speakerphone.. I thought these guys would know that.. This uses the same OS like the Audiovox SMT 5600 uses.. THey say operating the phone is complicated.. If a person gets used to the Windows Mobile 2003 OS, this should be a breeze. If the Audiovox SMT 5600 scoard 8.0 in review, 6.7 for this phone is TOO low.. THe voice quality is pretty good and I have no problem with it.. Infact I also own the Audivox SMT 5600. The joystick is awesome and you dont have to press the damm button in the Audiovox SMT 5600.. There are some pretty bad complaints about the joystick but they fixed that issue. I read that somewhere, cant find it right now... NONE Of the I-mate Phones are locked. They also say that this phone is expensive... Offourse if you want something that is not officially released in US, its going to be expensive. THis is a TOTAL BS cnet review...

I'm waiting for T-Mobile or someone to carry the SP5, which is nearly identical, but...it has WiFi, quad band GSM, the new Mobile5 OS, and all hardware fixes. Sounds like a fabulous unit.
