  • "Cheap ICS waterproof phone, so it has a slow processor."
    5.0 stars
    on by bert_w

Pros: Incredibly cheap. You get at least your money's worth. Compared to the other ICS phones on boost, it is an incredible deal. 5/5 when price is considered.

Cons: The slow processor causes some hiccups, weak camera, and only 3g, but since it is on boost (sprint) there are no 4g WiMax towers in my neighborhood (or even close), so thats a null point for 95% of the US.

Summary: MOST IMPORTANT NOTE: PHONE is definitely waterproof, that being said there are CONSEQUENCES to dropping the phone in water, i purposely did to see how cool waterproof was, and while awesome, the heapohone jack is separate from the rest of the phone waterproofing, and when it got wet the phone believed i had a hand free headset plugged in the jack from the water making a connection, for a bout 2 days, during which i had to use speaker ohone to use my phone. so only part of the phone affected by 10 minutes of being submerged, was the "phone", data, texting, everything else was with out hitch once dry. Also note touchscreen, like all capacitive touchscreens does not work while wet.
The phone is definitely worth the money. I live in the midwest, where there is only one city (and i dont live there) with sprint 4g wimax, which they are not building any more towers for, and the "4g" phones on boost mobile will not be compatible with the 4g lte network it is building (which wont come to my million plus pop. city for at least a year anyways), so it doesn't matter to me that the phone is only 3g. the boost mobile ID packs unwelcome, but if you are buying a $130 smartphone, on boost mobile chances are you it is your first smartphone, or at least your first ICS phone, so it a good idea for people who have never used an android, but as a avid smartphone user before i had this phone i found it annoying.
