The LG 101 is a slim, no-contract feature phone from Virgin Mobile that has all the basics covered. You can make calls, text, check your calendar, set an alarm, and play games if you like.
Although a data plan isn't required, if you choose to get one, you can surf the Web using the phone's Opera Mini browser. Opera also gives you shortcuts for checking your social-networking sites like Facebook and MySpace.
