Pros Good camera for its time, good menus, easy navigation.

Cons external display is monochrome, limited connectivity, That camera button on the side seems useless

Summary I owned this phone for ever a year, and until I deliberately broke it(well, my little brother pulled off the antenna so it was useless, and i disected it), this phone was a great PHONE!
Rarely got a dropped call, reception strength and volume were always good, everything a phone needed it had. Camera was good for its time, though no video. It has a nice comfortable form, and reliability you can expect from LG!

I upgraded to a CU500, heres hopein that LG still makes em like they used to!

    Pros The camrea was good

Cons READ BELOW FOR A REASON

Summary This phone is worthless with the exception of the decent camera. I have gone thru three of them thanks to cingualrs insurance and warranty. The First one: the Key Pad Quit and it was under warranty so I got another one, Second One: the camera and external ringer speaker went out with in three days of each other, again still under warranty and I again got another one, Third one: The screen started slanting and the word we all backwards. However it was out of warranty this time and with the help of cingular's insurance system I got a different phone since they no longer have the LG 1200, probably because it was JUNK! And as I am sure some of you are thinking I am hard on phone by dropping them etc. I assure you I am not worse than your average cell phone user. DO NOT GET THIS PHONE!

Pros Nice camera, easy txt messaging

    Cons Read below...

Summary I bought this phone in July of last year, things were fine for about 6 months. After that I was lucky if the battery lasted me throughout the day. I can could never hear the ring tones, then it started dialing random numbers and not letting me clear it when the flip was open. I used the warranty and got a new one...same problems when it comes to battery life and sound quality exceot now it is worse. Not only can I not hear the phone ring, my friends and family cannot hear me when I talk to them on this phone and I cannot hear them...it sounds like they are talking with their hands over their mouths and don't even get me started on the crap battery life.

Pros decent photo quality, has basical cellphone functions, keypad good, nice design, doesn't lag

Cons photo storage limit, no flash, no speakerphone, one pre-installed game, not really good ringtones

Summary I find it a good cameraphone to use. The pictures I take are pretty decent quality. I wish it had a camera flash so I can take pictures at night. The battery life IS weird. But I've never had the phone die on me, so it's all good. Keys are easy to push unlike my dad's C1300(sp? ha). There's only one pre-installed game and the ringtones aren't very good, especially the little chime-bell kind. There's a plethora of 'em but they're no use b/c it won't set as your ringtone very long and it's too quiet you can barely hear it. Dark-grey design of the phone is cool. I hate all the MEdia net crap it has and how the menu starts on that first.

Overall I like the phone, it's functional. I charge my phone every 3-4 days, I guess. Which is totally fine with me, because I don't really like to talk on the cell unless I'M bored (which means I don't like to talk when my friends are bored and call me haha...yah, I'm selfish like that) :]

  • "Excellent Style and good perfromance"
    on by honeybeeliss

Pros Large Scrren with clear picture, great keys, nice camera

Cons small memory for pictures, loud ring volume controls

Summary I really like this phone, the screen is nice and big, amd the keys are raised so you can dial by feel and feel solid (not plastic breakable keys) It's a good size and has external caller ID.
Only 2 things I wish could be improved, more memmory and a way to turn off ringer with out having to go down through the each of the phone's 5 levels of volume to get to vibrate option. This phone is unlocked so I was happy to get to use an LG with my T-mobile service.
