"LG - Life's NOT so Good afterall"1.5 starson by MeanDonnaJean
Pros: Liked the size and weight. Comfortable to hold
Cons: Totally unreliable
Summary: After doin' much research here at CNET regardin' the 3 free phones I had to choose from for my new service plan, LG seemed to be the most logical choice...so I went for it.
I wasn't too thrilled about its looks when I first ordered it, but I quickly warmed up to it upon its arrival. Its just a shame that it didn't reciprocate those same warm feelings towards ME.
I had nothin' but major problems from day one with this phone. Being a previous Nokia user who NEVER had ANY prior problems with neither the phone nor my carrier (AT&T Wireless....whom I miss dearly), the experience I had with the LG C1500 was disheartenin' to say the least. Lack of service, voice mail problems, dropped calls, NO calls and all types of errors occured while usin' the LG. Even after my makin' half a dozen calls to Cingular to try and resolve the problem, which they just could not seem to do, I finally asked for a replacement phone.....another tried-and-true Nokia...which was sent immediately and which has been workin' like a charm since day one.
Accordin' to one of the many service reps I spoke with at Cingular, numerous complaints had been made about the LG C1500. I just wish someone had given me a "heads-up" about that before I ordered the blasted thing.
So on that note, I would not recommend the LG C1500 phone to anyone...not even to my worst enemy!
