    Pros: display is good
    not too heavy
4g speed of metro pcs is good
connecting to wifi is not a problem
can download apps from store without problems
    apps loaded are adequate
video chat is quite decent not too lagging.
    messaging
    phone calls were clear.

    Cons: battery last 12 hours
camera pict at night is bad.
no way to check for app updates.
in phone mode and voice mail and when you enter password key after every 3 key stroke display would go off and on, at times it would prompt invalid password.

Summary: overall pricey for 350$ and $60 4g lte monthly plan. average phone does 4g lte. read samsung attain, lg esteem is even worse so had to settle here. Wish metro sold Apple iphone 4s :/

    i came across android forum:
    http://androidforums.com/lg-connect-4g/
where to save battery there is an app for that called juice defender you can download it from play appstore -> search for juice defender free version or paid version and download and give it a try. it disable the data connection when the phone is not in use and as a result saves a lot on the battery juice.

in my earlier email i had mentioned that there is now to check for apps; i stand corrected in app store when you hit menu click -> my apps -> if any are to be updated you can click them then one by one or all at once. to save on battery, i had set the auto updates to disabled so it was not showing up. and yest juice defender definitely saves a lot on battery.

in cons i had mentioned about display going off when making phone and while using dial pad, (it no longer a cons but rather a design fault of android device). i figured this out through droid forum; as i am a left handed and was holding the device a certain way; i was sort of blocking the sensor located at the top left corner of the device. once i changed the way i held the phone, things word as expected; given the work around i've used since getting the phone a week ago i certainly would like to up the rating to 4 stars as its having the same problems as most of the devices in the market place for android devices today.

I have the Samsung Galaxy Attain and I actually saw it's faster and more responsive than the Esteem. So I believe the Attain is an amazing phone. But in a matter of months i'll prob get the connect
