Pros I love the shiny exterior of this phone. I like that it's a slide phone & I can still text using a normal keypad-not those qwerty keyboards where I hit every key except the one I want. The screen is huge & easy to navigate. Blue tooth works gre
Cons Nothing. Phone has been extremely user friendly, especially if you've had an LG phone before. People I call say it sounds like they're on speaker phone when I use blue tooth, but I can perfect. Exterior is ultra glossy, but easy to wipe clean.
Summary The phone is eye-catching and practical. Extremely easy to navigate the menu, send text messages, etc. Has additional features like the USB port so you can upload songs onto your phone. Camera takes great pictures and the phone's speaker sounds great. I never thought I'd use blue tooth, but I've found myself loving it, and it's extremely easy! Definitely a solid buy. Phone's size is perfect.
Pros The ability to change the font size on the txt message, display, and dial digits was a big plus for me. The sleek design, ease of use and the attached removable ear piece were all positives for me. I really like this phone alot.
Cons The earpiece always falls out my ear, usually in the middle of a conversation when I?m driving. It is very annoying and would lead me to maybe purchase another phone if I had to do over again.
Summary Try the earpiece out first. Walk around the store with it in your ear, move your head side-to-side. Just do what you normally do for about 3 minutes and see if it stays in. If it does then I would recommend it. If it doe not stay in, just imagine yourself driving down the freeway, in the middle of a conversation, with your ear piece in between your seat and the center console. I wind up ending my call and then when I can pull over, I track my earpiece down. I am considering buying another headset, which kind of defeats a great feature if this one? or so I thought.
Pros Great speakerphone, decent battery life
Cons Small keys and Bluetooth earpiece falls off easily
Summary I was used to a flip phone's larger key pads and I have problems with these smaller keys in a slide type phone particularly the "toggle stick" in the middle to move around in the screen. If you have some oil on your finger tip, the toggle won't move. Since I use speaker quite a bit, this phone does have good clean voice and sound. As more people use their cell phone as their PDAs and day planners, one major drawback I see with the LG (and possibly other brands) is the lack of a "notes" section within the Contact List to allow user to enter say the person's or business' street address or other pertinent notes with that contact. They do have a Notes area totally separate from the Contact List that you can enter misc notes but you really can't tie that in with your contact list at all. I believe Audiovox phones have that "notes" feature available for the Contact List. The other feature that really needs major improvement is the fit of the Bluetooth earpiece since it doesn't provide any "adapter" to fit different ears nor does it have a "hook" to secure this earpiece to around the ear. My problem with this earpiece is it doesn't fit my ear that well at all and it keeps falling off. I've heard similar complaints from other users of this feature. Hope LG plans to come up with a "hook" accessory to secure this earpiece.
Pros both phone and blue tooth in one
Cons none so far
Summary I just bought it today, but ive already used the bluetooth and it's way cool! easy to use and is comfortable. the screen is new and sleek. some smudges but who cares, it's beautiful. if you are used to an LG, the features are the same to find so it was easy for me to navigate. loving it so far.
Pros Nice screen, layout.
Cons I could hear, but everyone I called complained that I sounded like I was coming from inside a tin can. I returned the phone after several weeks.
Summary The whole reason I got the phone was because of the onboard bluetooth, but the device was of such poor quality that I stopped using it. Once I realized I needed a new device, there was no point in keeping the phone. If your primary need for a cell phone is to speak and hear clearly, don't get this phone until they've improved the bluetooth.
