"The best Windows Mobile phone by far!" on by harrisonrj

Pros: Fast and responsive, good size build quality, the fingerprint reader is fantastic, takes good video and pictures (complete with flash), large and usable slide out keyboard. This is the 8th WM phone I have owned and it is streets ahead of the others!

Cons: The external lipstick style pointer would have been better if it was stored in the phones body. However as you don't need to use it as often in WM6.5 this is a minor issue.

Summary: The ad campaign for this phone has focused on the projector add-on for this phone, but that is not fair to the quality of this phone. The Snapdragon processor makes the phone powerful and responsive; the build quality is fantastic (I have never been impressed with the build quality of LG phones in the past). The screen and keyboard on this phone is among the best I have seen. I sat and compared the Expo with a friend?s Droid (which he loves) and in the end my friend had to agree the overall package of the Expo was more impressive than the Droid. The projector attachment is a nice toy (it is also $180 extra!) but that is not what makes this phone good, LG have made a solid and powerful Windows Mobile phone that provides the business features of WM 6.5 while at the same time having the power and features to beat with the iPhone.

"Excellent phone !! Love the keyboard." on by slayertudd

Pros: I am amazed at the color display, the durability and touchscreen capabilities of this phone. It looks sleek and sharp. I like the locking of the display when using the keyboard which, I think is very nice.

Cons: I'm not too keen on the stylus idea. The thought of a lanyard holding my stylus to my phone isn't exactly ideal for people who are on the go.

Summary: This is a very good phone. It's a great phone for integrating with Windows Live and other online mediums.Despite the issue with a separate stylus holding system, I definetly believe that this phone is worth it's asking price in terms of portability, design, functionality and appearance

"Great phone. Loaded with features, user friendly" on by vik0594

Pros: The Expo has everything in a simple device. Everything works great, and the fingerprint sensor is a great touch.

Cons: There is occasional lag in the device before you scan your finger to unlock it.

"Best Multi Functional phone for the Price!!!!!" on by theflo--2008

Pros: You Tube 40 inch screen on a flat clean wall decent sound. Smartphone capabilites same or better than some
blackberrys. No drops hear, clear connection, multi task the devil out this device and no hiccups.

Cons: My one and lone nibble the inaccuaracy of the touch screen at times can be annoying. Lg needs to fix that.

Summary: I love the product cause as a man 6'4" it fits my hands nicely, love the weight of the phone, it is tough dropped it on a hard floor a couple of times and didn't have to worry about pieces flying all over the place.

Travel who care about hotel t.v. I got net flix and the pico projector 40 inch screen baby and the wife and kids are happy.

This phone makes At&t phone service WAY MORE TOLERABLE. I am buying another one cause I don't want any other phone unless there is a Lg Expo2.

"The best windows mobile phone you would have(I had)" on by avito

Pros: Compared to HTC HD2, LG expo/LG Telus(same phone) beats it by a physical keyboard.
    Fingerprint reader
Retina display just like iPhone 4(not a hoax)
    Snapdragon processor
    Windows Mobile OS

    Cons: Bluetooth 3.0
    no extra-capacity batteries yet
    few physical buttons
    no compass
    no 3.5mm audio jack
    no high-def video recording(720p)
    low GSM antenna gain
    low microphone volume gain

Summary: Compared to HTC HD2, LG expo/LG Telus(same phone) beats it by a physical keyboard.
    Pros:
    Fingerprint reader
Retina display just like iPhone 4(not a hoax)
    Snapdragon processor
    Windows Mobile OS
    Windows Mobile 6.5
With WM, you can customise your own neat-arrange homescreen, unlike android and iOS
Has own LG expo community called LG-expo.com
    Keyboard
A second official ROM has been released by LG(Amazing right?)
    5.0MP camera
Internet explorer in WM6.5 is better than you think
Resistive screen, but is capacitive too(GUI is in fact stylus free)
Very cheap, because the WM market is deteriorating

The processor speed greatly enhance windows mobile OS(WM), which WM needs very high speed like this to actually work well. WM is a great old(experienced) OS, boasting loads of mature and free or crackable apps. Sometimes you just don't like Android and IOS. WM6.5 in this phone has greatly enhanced the GUI experience, I never knew WM6.5 is nice to use until I bought this phone. Certainly, join XDA developers to download Custom ROM and enhancement tweaks for LG expo is a wise move, but not recommended legally. Flashing new ROM is fast and one-step, I love it. It has got retina display, pixels as small as iphone 4's, don't be fooled by apple's "retina only in iphone 4" claim, now business users could have it in LG expo way earlier than iphone 4. Fingerprint reader is a must, it eliminates the hassle to type passwords by just a simple swype. Keyboard buttons are broad and ok. Internet explorer browser is amazingly powerful, just like what you can find in android. I personally believe that resistive screen is always better than capacitive screen as you can do delicate things on resistive but only bulky stunted actions on capacitive, with the aid of stylus sometimes. Thank goodness that LG expo is still having a resistive screen. You can also say WM has an older history of having folder function, multitasking ability which are far well working than android and iOS. I love WM's PC like file explorer as well.

    Cons:
    Bluetooth 3.0
    no extra-capacity batteries yet
    few physical buttons
    no compass
    no 3.5mm audio jack
    no high-def video recording(720p)
    low GSM antenna gain
    low microphone volume gain

Bluetooth 3.0 is many times faster than Bluetooth 2.1 in Lg expo. Compass is hugely needed in navigation. Surprisingly, it has lower antenna gain shown in the display, but... but..., it has proven to me that it has no problem like other phone when calling in the basement. However, low microphone gain is somehow a problem here. When holding the phone you need to curve your palm to reflect sound back to the bottom of the phone and that helps.
