The Bottom Line Though we weren't pleased with LG Incite's design quirks, we think that overall, it's a very good first entry in the U.S. smartphone market. Despite a few quibbles with the touch screen, its full features and excellent performance make the LG Vu one of the hottest phones this year. The Samsung Solstice offers a touch screen and multimedia features, but its performance isn't the best. The HTC Pure offers AT&T customers an affordable touch-screen smartphone that showcases a more intuitive Windows Mobile operating system and strikes a nice balance between work and play. That said, those looking for a handset that excels in multimedia and Web browsing should stick with the iPhone.
