"Very bad phone."on by jesusm08
Pros small, light weight
Cons crashes all the time. battery does not last. slow. no updates to fix bugs on phone.
Summary bad phone!
Pros Great features for a low end smart phone. Great price. Very useful if you are Google savvy and not a heavy app user.
Cons Processor sucks. Too many preloaded applications I will never use and cannot delete. Most of them took up quite a lot of RAM, caused lag on user applications. Screen didn't seem to understand calibration, especially when it was charging.
Summary I bought this phone as a very first android smartphone for myself. At first I was very happy with what was in the package. It was simple enough to use, had no trouble figuring out how to get started. That changed when I connected it to my wireless network. Immediately I had a ton of the google applications that were preloaded updated. Despite the fact I wouldn't even use most of them, they were constantly running in the background and causing my phone to lag. The applications got so intrusive, I couldn't even play angry birds without misfiring a bird or two. Another thing that annoyed me was the fact the screen never stayed calibrated, especially when it was charging. I would wake it from sleep mode and touch a button (alarm or such) and something on the other side of the screen that is not even close would get activated. I even had trouble unlocking my phone using the pattern option. Needless to say I got fed up with it. I will be getting an HTC phone from Virgin's phone line up.
