Better looking than the rest of the LG Optimus

Way better than the Blackberry Curve-- IMO

    Cons: Camera
    Battery

Summary: The LG Optimus M is a great starter Android phone, just like the Blackberry Curve 8330 was a good starter blackberry phone. As starters there are going to be some limitations, but as a former user of the BB Curve 8330 and a current user of the LG Optimus M I have to say that my LG Android surpasses my ex BB Curve.

I give everything on this phone a 9 or 10 with the exception of the camera and the battery. Flash should've been added to the camera and like every other android (and even Blackberry) phones out there, the battery is nothing to write home to mother about.

With the LG Optimus M, I am able utilize all the android apps, use my google apps, listen to my vmail, write an email or two, stream pandora, download music onto my 2GB SD (with an upgradeable 32 GB) surf the web, watch youtube videos, Facebook, tweet, post to my business website, my personal tumblr, and look at Adobe Flash websites. Need I go on? For $249 I got a fabulous phone with the Android 2.2 (froyo) OS.

I am able to write emails and text fast and w/o misspelled words! Visually speaking this is by far the BEST LOOKING LG Optimus out there. Very refined, durable, and easy on the hands.

NO there is no 3G, but I am still able to surf the Internet and download android apps w/o Wifi FAST. With Wifi, the internet is SUPER FAST. Also the calls are clear and loud, and the reception is up to par. Go Metro! (n I am based in NYC). As a bootstrapping entrepreneur this phone works wonderful for me, and it is easy on the pocket which allows me to spend money on other important things like rent or on other business matters.

If you are expecting a Droid X, EVO, or Incredible then you need to either go to Sprint or Verizon. A fair comparison would be Droid (Droid 2 or X) vs. HTC ( EVO or Incredible) and Samsung vs. LG
