"Sorry that I ever bought this phone." on by ellasophia
Pros: Large screen
Cons: It is very user unfriendly. The fact that it won't connect to the internet is the worst. It locks up a lot to the point that I have to remove the battery to re boot the phone. Oh and battery life, terrible!!!
Summary: Sorry I traded up to this phone.

"Impressive device on an impressive network." on by ryanoudoak
Pros: 4LTE Network on Verizon is impressively fast...I hope others stay off of it as long as possible. Some of the "bloatware" that is pre-installed is actually surprisingly useful. Netflix is seemless once you establish an account.
Cons: Few accessories yet -- bad LG. Can't stream netflix through HDMI connection to other devices -- very disappointing. How do you carry this thing?
Summary: I was really surprised that it took CNET a) this long to come out with a review b) they apparently did not spend much time with this device because the things brought up in the review I got over within 48 hours. I hope they revisit this review.
UPDATE: Mini HDMI cable (for the Droid X2) purchased from the Verizon store works to mirror this phone onto our HDTV. This function works for watching HD video shot with our phone, Netflix, pictures, browsing the internet including streaming full-length episodes of TV programs and, much to the delight of our 5-year old son, Angry Birds RIO. I routinely make it through a work day while casually using the phone for email, facebook and light browsing during breaks. I always carry a charger with me for the days that I am using the phone to stream multi-media (radio or TV) and usually requirea 45-minute charge at some point during the day to make it to the evening.
Bottom line: If you live in an area supported by Verizon's 4LTE network, you should consider one of these phones even with only a single-core processor. Unless you are constantly playing games, dual-core processing probably is unncecessary while we are in a FROYO (and even Gingerbread) world.
When I was researching this phone, all I read about was how disappointing it was that Bing was the search engine and how disappointing it was that all this "bloatware" was put on the phone by Verizon and how the battery life was disappointing.
The truth is, you get over that in about 48 hours. Bing is actually a pretty intuitive search engine with some cool features that don't come with google. Don't get me wrong, google is still my home page on my laptop and my search engine of choice because I am used to it. But Bing actually gives some neat shortcuts to finding local businesses that are useful when you are mobile. And I haven't noticed anything different with Bing maps?it's a map. And if you really hate it, you can still download google maps and search engine from the market. You can store 48 gigs of data on this thing!!!
I hate a lot of the programs that were preloaded on the phone, but no one is forcing me to use them. And I can put 48 gigs of data on this thing!!! Plus, Polaris office and Netflix are awesome! And I definitely wouldn't have discovered Polaris Office if it hadn't been preloaded. Maybe something I hate is something someone else would think was awesome.
Battery life - I spent about 20 minutes changing the settings on my applications through the application manager (turning off what I didn't need to be running) and battery life increased tremendously. Went from 3 hours between charges in the first 36 hours I had the phone to a full 12-hours yesterday. During those 12-hours, I was using it for email and facebook throughout the day. I downloaded a PowerPoint presentation for work (100 page document downloaded in 5 seconds) and reviewed it while I sat in a park. And I used it as a phone. Point being, this thing can last a whole day. That said, I will be buying a portable charger (go green) and a car charger for days when I want to be surfing all day on the fastest network around.
I gave this phone the 4-star review that CNET should have. Personally, I would put it closer to 5 and would have been a 5 if LG had launched with an appropriate supplement of accessories. Bad, LG.

The single core processs compliments the 4LTE network for Verizon. I can report that I generally get 2 bars from home (15 miles outside of Detroit. At work, 5 miles away, I routinely get 5 bars of 4G. I do not notice any lag in network or phone performance under any of these conditions. -
"This phone is everything I expected it to be." on by alanb4130
Pros: Very fast. Easy to operate. Great range for both cell phone and wifi. Camera takes great pictures and video. Comes with 32g of data storage. 16g internal and a micro sd 16g card. The way I am going I might need to get the 32g external card. I am very glad
Cons: The only con that I see is the battery. Bid deal. All 4g smart phones suck the juice. Go to app store and download Juice Defender and it helps out quite a bit. At some point I plan on getting the heavy duty battery.
Summary: I would recommend this phone to anyone looking for a nice 4G phone that is fast has a nice screen and is fun to use.

"Just a bad phone." on by vcverve
Pros: Big screen. Netflix app
Cons: Yes it has poor battery, but most smart phones do. My complaint is that it freezes non stop. In fact it freezes so often that I couldn't answer the phone because it had frozen. I often have to shut the phone off and restart it, and even occasionally ju
Summary: It's just a bad phone, not worth the money, and despite the wonder that is a smart phone, you may actually wish long for your plain old phone that you could actually answer.

"Shouldn't be called a "wireless phone"!!!" on by dmagi
Pros: Big Screen
4G is fastCons: Battery life is ATROCIOUS!!!
The phone is not fast. 2-4 second lag when pushing buttons.
Drops blue-tooth connection often.Summary: To call this a "wireless phone" is a joke. It depletes battery charge so fast that it should constantly be connected to a charger. OMG!!! It's BAD!!!
I get up in the morning with it fully charged, and within 2 hours, I'm at 50%. That's with wi-fi disabled, hardly any apps, and no talking!
While it depletes battery juice extremely quick, it's VERY slow to charge.
The lag in response is also upsetting. I really expected more.
Phone volume is relatively low. A good blue-tooth helps, when it stays connected.
All in all, I love the screen, but dislike to phone.
