Pros Keyboard, Battery Life, Simple Design, Size
Cons Not Durable, Slow, Terrible Camera
Summary This is my first phone. I have had it for2 1/2 years. It is okay for me, but I barely use the phone. The worst thing about this phone is that it's not very durable. After using it a few weeks, the key buttons were starting to go crooked and become louder when you press them. When opening the slide out keyboard, if you don't put your finger to hold the sliding keyboard out it hurts itself very bad, the sliding keyboard snaps out very fast if you don't hold it back and open it slowly with your finger. It will break quickly if you don't. The sliding keyboard might fall off the hinges because it snaps open. I have never dropped the phone, i take good care of it. But if it were to fall on the ground, i know it would break instantly.
When typing on the keyboard, it doesn't keep up with your typing, it misses letters even though you pressed them. When you backspace a few times, it erases the whole thing.
When you try pressing the buttons, sometimes it doesn't respond and you have to press the button twice. The speaker is quiet and you can't hear the other person sometimes. When typing, its almost impossible to add any punctuation. Your afraid to capitalize words because something might go wrong as usual. The headphone jack is too small, and it doesn't fit regular headphones. Compared to everyone else's phone, it looks old and outdated. The front design of the phone looks nice, but the back has nothing on it, and looks like a phone you got for $9.99. It has no games, and the ring tones are bad, there is no good simple rings, i don't want some dumb song ring tone, just a type of beeping sound, and it does not have any good ones. The camera is awful, it is only 1.3. it has no flash, it is always too dark, and you can never see anything. It is fuzzy and pix-elated. but i do like the feature of the 7 second auto take or night mode. The video only lasts for 15 seconds. When you save a picture, it tries to automatically send it to someone. It takes forever to save, like 5 seconds, and switching in between pages takes forever.
I always feel like the buttons are going to fall out. The phone is a good size. The reason it "turns it self off" is to prevent butt dialing. For prepaid, I paid $99 for the phone, which isn't a very good price for what you get. The phone was made for prepaid so things like, Celltop, Bluetooth, and the Internet are pointless to me because it would suck up all my prepaid minutes using the internet within 5 minutes of using the internet through the phone. It is very hard to plug in the charger into the port. Even after taking good care of the phone, the screen is scratched, Also lately it has been dropping all of my calls. You cannot record and create your ringtone, or be sent a sound by someone and make it as your ringtone. You can only send text messages with about 120 characters or less. There are many other bad things. thankfully it has been discontinued, but don't get similar one's like the lg neon or lg cosmos. I do not like LG, you should get a Samsung.
Pros Easy to use, durable, simple
Cons poor camera, keyboard doesn't work well with the phone on vibrate
Summary All those people saying the keyboard doesn't work obviously don't use a ringtone. If the phone is on vibrate, then it doesn't work properly, but once you put it at even the lowest ringer volume it works perfectly.
Pros Keyboard (when it wants to work)
Cons Where do I begin??
Summary Worst phone ever!! Keyboard constantly freezes up, erases my texts if I try to backspace. Speaker quality is awful. Phone shuts off on its own all the time. And after not even having owned it for two years it is barely useable at all now. Opened the keyboard to send a text, closed it after I was done, and now all there is, is a white screen. It will not reset, and now I have to leave the keyboard open to see the screen. If I close the phone and open it for text, I have to press the symbol button repeatedly for the white screen to disappear and to display the text screen, and even then it sometimes displays backwards and upside down. I have never been rough with this phone, just use it in the manner in which I thought it was made to be used. My phone is the biggest piece of garbage ever!!
"i hate this phone!"on by riah95
Pros the QWERTY board. the battery level ... OUTSTANDING!
Cons the QWERTY board works on and off; nobody can really hear me on speaker; the camera ... doesn't even take good pixs. it's like it's a dark background;
Summary i hate this phone. i once thought it was soooo cool. and it was a time when everybody was getting THIS phone. but we didn't realize it was GARBAGE!
the QWERTY board is a PRO and CON. it works sometimes. when i backspace one letter, (or ONE word) it erases the whole text.
the speaker! isn't the point of the speaker is sooo it's hands FREE and ear FREE? must of my friends and family (when i put them on speaker) can't even hear me!
when i (try to) take a picture ... it's like its a smuggy black background. i tried changing the settings and EVERYTHING ... but nothing seemed to work.
another thing ... i got this phone replaces ONCE out of the (almost) two years i have had it. the reasons: because i've dropped it sooo many times and because it would sometimes charge and it sometimes wouuldn't. when it did charge, and had a FULL battery, it would quickly ... DIE! i had to get it replaced.
this phone sucks. i would ONLY recommend this phone if you are buying it for eight year olds and elders. but for teenagers and older adults .... noooo!
this phone is horrible. what a waste of excitement!
Pros I liked how the phone slides and that it has a key pad lock.
Cons Phone turned itself off. Charger kept coming loose. Buttons are very frustrating. I wanted to run the phone over with a tank!
Summary This phone is terrible. I couldn't wait for my 2 year contract to end so that I could get a new phone. Camera is terrible. No flash. Speaker phone is worthless. The buttons on the QWERTY keyboard gave me so many problems. I would have to press the I, O, M, T, A, and B buttons numerous times before it would show up in the message. Whenever I pressed the back button, 8 times out of 10 it would erase the whole message and I would have to re-type the message over again. The phone just recently started shutting itself off. I've had it for 2 years and already had gotten about 3 or 4 replacements.I'm very happy I switched over to Verizon.
