"AWESOME PHONE!! Touchscreen's the only issue. Honest."4.5 starson by wutzmyname
Pros: It works. It's the best phone I've had to date. Everything is quick and functional the first time you use it. The alarm clock shows the current time while you're setting the alarm. It's super simple to use. Touch calibration is SPOT ON. Great battery
Cons: The touchscreen isn't that sensitive. Sometimes you have to really push to get the input in, but that's ok because the touch calibration is amazing. You are on a web page and you have a tiny link button to tap with big fingers, it gets it every time!
Summary: All the features and functions are well thought out and are actually useful. It feels great in your hand. It's right in that Goldilocks zone. When you power on, it's one of the only phones I've had that is up and ready to fully use in under 30 seconds. Call quality is great. Bluetooth connectivity is unbelievably simple. The tiny speaker puts out great sound for your music. OH!!!! Even though I just use Web2Go, T-Mobiles watered down version of the web, the phone comes with a You Tube app. So, when I first started using that app, the picture quality stunk! I was so disappointed, BUT THEN..... I noticed a little link button under the first YouTube video that showed HQ/NORMAL and when I clicked on that HQ viewing mode.... BAM!!! Crystal clear video that even has my wife, who owns a Motorola Cliq that runs Android, saying,"WOW!" and my son is jealous too.
Don't let me forget to tell you about the battery. I am getting about two and half days worth of usability from the battery. The proper way to charge and use your cell phone's battery when you first use it, is to turn your phone on and use the battery until it completely dies, not when the phone says the battery is low. Then charge it, which takes only 2-3 hours, then use it till it dies again, from that point on you have set the micro chip in the battery to knowing the optimal charging time. Another thing about the phone I love/hate is when you get to the point where you get the low battery warning, the screen then dims to a point where it's hard to see and you cannot run any apps at all, but that does give you anywhere from 3 hours standby time or 1 hour of talk time. So it's a love/hate thing for me.
Bottom line is........I FRICKIN' LOVE THIS PHONE!!!! I have a curse with phones. They hate me. I don't know why, but it just is. I've had Crackberrys, Pearls ect. ect. and they all hated me, but this phone likes me, I mean it really does like me and I love it.
I hope this review helps. As for me, I need some alone time with my phone. =)
