"This Was Rated 7.6 And The VX-7000 Got An 8.0?????"
onPros Hello??? Anyone home over there? You positively have to be kidding! I owned the 7000 and now own the 8000. It's not even close. Let me just go through a few of the differences. The 8000 has a 1.3 MP camera, 7000 a measly 0.3MP. 8000 has a superb speaker p
Cons I love the size so any of you who complain about this I recommend you get one of those ridiculous little postage stamp sized phones and try and dial quickly. Oh, and don't forget to let me know how reliable they are.

"Great phone with greta features"
on by JohnM1964Pros Excellent reception and transmitting
Cons Parts of operations manual very confusing, some features not covered.
Summary I originally purchased a LG VX6100, which I wasn't to happy with. I returned it and upgraded to the VX8000. What an incredible phone. It's loaded with cool features, and is designed very well. The menu screens look great and are easy to understand. You almost do not need the manual to learn how to use this phone. I know people complain about the size of it, but I prefer a "bigger" phone. It enables a bigger display that you can actually read without a magnifying glass. Also the keypad buttons are far apart enough that you don't accidentally hit the wrong keys. The 1.3 megapixel camera takes wonderful pictures. I also fancy the external color LCD screen. Battery power is decent. I am using an extended life battery. The phone has been on since yesterday morning, made many calls, played around with the new features and I still have 4 bars of battery life 24 hours later.! Lastly the most important features, reception and transmitting. Both excel in this category. Had the phone for a week. Not one dropped call, even when no signal bars were showing, and the other party still came in clear. Even when inside my house which is a cell phone signal nightmare. You can't go wrong with this phone. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

"AWESOME PHONE! UNDER RATED."
onPros People are rating phones for the wrong reasons. You dont knock points off for the phone NOT having bluetooth when blue tooth is an overated item that MOST PEOPLE DONT USE ANYWAY! This phone is wonderful. It is NOT TOO BIG. The screen is the best I have se
Cons Dont rate a phone for its camera... go buy a camera - lack of a feature bluetooth... who needs it anyway... just an expensive gimmick. Get real people!!

"Disappointed - lots of problems"
on by rollsguyPros Lots of features easy to use
Cons WONT WORK. charging cycle locks up
Summary Phone has lots of nice features and is easy to use. MAJOR problem. If phone is left on and charged all night it will lock up and become inoperable; no calls in and no calls out The ONLY way to make the phone operable again is to remove the battery! This happened on three different VX 8000 phones that I had. I spoke to several other people who have experienced the same problem.
