"I love my Admiral."on by BosREM
Pros Fast enough processor. Calls are clear. Direct Connect works. International Direct Connect works well. Browsing is fast enough. No problems with emails. Nice Motorola and Android widgets that helps functionality. Easy to hold in my hands.
Cons Very minor one, is the power button (on/off). A few times I powered it off, put it in my pocket, and the button easily gets pressed thus turning it back on. But then again, I am probably one of a few people who sometimes powers the phone off.
Summary I LOVE my admiral. Granted, I am new to smartphones and I understand there are much more sophisticated ones out there. But for me, it does its job well and fits my needs. I was a Nextel costumer. And I mainly was one because I have family in South America. It is popular there, so I could talk to them anytime I wanted with International Direct Connect from Sprint. But there really was no good option in terms of Smartphones with Nextel. Now that Sprint created this option, it is proving to be a wish come true to me. I can have a smartphone and keep my direct connect habits. It is fast enough for me for web browsing, emails, etc. I do not have a lot of Apps on it, but I am maybe not a heavy app user. It also come with Adroid and Motorla Widgets that I like and make things like "Direct Connecting" family quicker and faster. Speech recognition is probably not as sophisticated, but it will at least dial a person when I tell it to. I am very satisfied and grateful that I do have at least one good and solid smartphone option. Hopefully more things will come, as I would hate to loose a Direct Connect-Smarpthone option like this one.

Summary I really loved this phone. As someone coming from one of the prior smartphones sprint had, had (Hero) I saw much improvement of this with the physical keyboard. I unfortunately had a loss of service in my area, and had to return the phone after using it just under 10 days, as I couldn't deal with no service. The phone played videos and games extremely well, and I experienced no lags, works wonders, you should love
Pros Very durable and easy to use. Screen is clear and reponsive to touch. The keyboard works very well considering my move over from a Blackberry.
Cons Phone drops calls and takes 90 seconds after dial button is pushed to make calls. If you push it a second time within that 90 seconds, a second call is made thus turning your call into a conference call. The phone repeatedly locks up and needs to be
Summary Having problems with the phone function of a "smart phone" doesn't bode well for the long term success of a phone. I should be able to hang up a call and then be able to call another person but the phone locks up and takes 90 seconds to make the call or it won't respond at all and I have to reset the phone. I don't care how many other things it can do. If it cannot function as a basic phone, it is useless. Stay away from this phone.
Pros Good battery life. Lots of apps. Decent speakers. Wifi connection. Remote connection.
Cons Not durable. Key-board is hard to work Usability is poor. 3G is often slow. Not intuitive. Problems with people hearing me because of low bars.
Summary I had it one week when I barely dropped it and the screen cracked. I am also not very impressed by the OS. It is definitely not very intuitive and lacks some of the features I would like and expect in a smartphone. I also found that some of the updates(more specifically maps) to their on-board applications are buggy and break certain features on the phone. I had to uninstall the update to the maps program to the get phone to work properly. I will likely not be buying an android again. I am considering going back to my Palm Pixi despite battery life problems. I do not see how this phone can be military standard as they claim. Over all the phone has some great features like long battery life and tons of applications but does not meet my expectations.
Pros Latest version of android. Write clear, easy-to-read screen. Ability to use Sprint mobile sync. Can also use my Gmail account for updating contacts, calendars, etc.
Cons Poor placement of USB charger port makes it difficult to place the phone in a car mount and leave plugged into the charger. Also seems like they need to work on. The antenna for better signal strength.
Summary All in all it seems like Motorola and Sprint have a good phone here, and it is an improvement leaps and bounds above the Keyocera Duro Max
