"Almost a great phone"
on by phon_usrPros Features are amazing, it is light, vivid screen and pretty durable except the battery
Cons Battery life terrible, hard to replace, cannot be removed without tools. Charging problems are commonplace (check forums)
Sometimes freezes when background bloatware loads. When charging, touch screen randomly gets uncalibrated and cannot be used.Summary If you get a lemon like 30,000 views on android forums suggest many do, you will be sorry. Problem is severe enough to compel me to create an account on this site to warn potential buyers of this problem.
The phone also seems to "get preoccupied" doing some background task and becomes unresponsive upon initial waking. Up to 30 seconds sometimes before the screen will respond.
Funny how these corporate reviews never seem to mention things like this about the companies who sponsor ads on their site.... Unbiased? well that's why I am here to post my personal experience. Hope I help someone.
No phone is perfect, but I feel sorry for you if you go into the endless charge-stop-reboot-charge cycle with this pile of dung. -
"The best smartphone I've ever had."
on by dbfan2007Pros Tough, especially the screen. I have no case for it. I have dropped it plenty of times. Absolutely no marks on the screen. Very small dings on the side. Screen makes iPhones look weak. Big, bright screen. Customizatable. The speaker is loud. Etc..
Cons Camera and battery. I have a Canon camera for pictures and I always have chargers in my house and in my car. So I have no problem with that. I wish it had a little more internal memory, but I bought a 16 GB card.
Summary This is a great phone. It does everything I want it to. I love how I can simply open up folders for my SD card and drop my music, pictures, and movies right in. No syncing, no losing anything. My wife has the amazing Galaxy S3 that I always here about. To me, it's no better than this phone. This phone is tougher. The S3 might have a few cuter things here and there, but I'm not a teenage girl.
Oh, I need to add, I only paid $20 for the phone and received a $100 WalMart gift card (with a 2 year extension for ATT).
This phone is simply amazing, and I haven't even tried to root it yet.

"Nice phone overall"
on by ajt9104Pros everything except the con I've listed
Cons you can't select different notification tones for texts and emails. You hear the same tone whether you're getting text message or email, and there's no way to change this.

"Amazing upgrade"
on by Frailian_25Pros Slim design, 1080p video, 8mp camera, 1.3mp hd camera front, Kevlar case, vivid colors, 1.5 GHz dual core, 4g LTE, 150 mbps wifi,
Cons Lacks NFC support, short standby per battery charge (8.5 hrs), no radio
Summary I had the original Atrix 4g when it first came out and it was a great phone. I didn't bother with the Atrix 2 at all. This was free with my upgrade and I gotta say, I love this phone. The pictures i take with the HDR setting are great. It's very durable because of the Kevlar case and the Gorilla glass. The screen is very responsive. The only thing that I don't like very much is the battery is built into the device and the standby time is 8.5 hours. Other that that I would recommend this phone. Can't go wrong with Motorola.

"Much improvements!"
on by kelseykat2Pros It has a beautiful screen and is fun to use, battery life is great since update!
Cons I have always hated android keyboard, I just download swiftkey and I am fine.
Summary Good screen, fast, never lags, beautiful phone.
When I first got it had severe battery life issues! Before recent update the phone would die in less then 12 hours, update has tripled that time! I am extremely impressed with this update and it is a wonderful phone for what it cost.
A GREAT phone since the upgrade, worth the price and possibly more!
